"The staff was super nice and helpful. We arrived at 2:30 am and were given a late check out at no extra charge. Beds were comfortable and water pressure was great. The only complaint is our room smelled like someone had just smoked weed in it right before we got there. It was so strong, I don’t think that is the staffs fault but we turned on the AC to try to get the odor out and eventually it got better."
Hotel Forty Five, Macon, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I love the feel of this property. It displayed some of the rich history of Macon, GA complemented with great staff and amenities. Great food on property and very close to a lot of resturants and museums."
"We love staying at thr microtels. We find them to be cleaner and safer then other motels they have a hardy breakfast that is included with your stay. I would recommend the microtel families. We have stayed a microtel facilities in KY, TN, and Ga. highly recommended !"
"The woman at the front desk (check in) was fabulous. Probably the nicest front desk employee I’ve dealt with…ever!
Room was very clean and quiet.
Location was convenient…right off the freeway.
We would definitely stay again."
"Very nice spacious room with large queen bed with sturdy frame and headboard. TV worked well so did mini fridge and the microwave. Pet area very clean with no trash or cigarette butts littered; poop bags available with trash can. Potty area off to right side of building and my room was on the 1st floor, last door on the right so it was super convenient to go take my dog potty. Parking space ample room. Rocking chairs out front very relaxing atmosphere. Lobby clean upon entry. Staff friendly, patient and informative. A/C in room super cold. Bathtub was large with a detachable shower head as well as a removable shower chair. Bathroom very large, tissues available, clean towels stocked, clean sink and vanity. Bedding appeared clean with no stains noted. I would recommend this place and would stay again if in the area. Area felt very safe."
"The shower curtain rod was bent, and the shower curtain would not stay closed. More concerning, the shower curtain was mildewed and smelled up the entire bathroom. The curtain should be bleached; also, this may be because there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The room was noisy due to trucks all night on the adjacent interstate, but there is nothing you can do about that."

If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, a holiday rental can offer a sense of seclusion away from shared hotel lifts and lobbies bustling with people while still allowing you the enjoyment of travel. You'll also find more space in a holiday rental than in a traditional hotel, which makes a holiday rental an attractive choice for family trips.
