Perfect staff and best hotel location in Lamai
the staff are so very friendly and able to deliver everything we need in a polite as and resourceful manner. The location cannot be beaten being on the doorstep of the town centre. Fantastic and we maintained pool. Breakfast was up there as the best selection and comfortable surroundings. We definitely intend to return with a much larger group Of friends

Remarkable staff so extremely friendly. If you are looking for first class hotel and wonderful restaurant and pool on site. You find a place more central in Lamai Beach. Don't forget to visit Mr Phu restaurant in the market area. True free and cooked to order and amazing range in me u and cheapest thai food around.

Lovely property we booked a room with pool access was a really cool experience. Pool was very clean and staff were so helpful arranging tours. Nice breakfast also.

The property was pretty good. Rooms were good other than really hard bed. Due to high tides, there wasnt much for a beach, but not the hotels fault. Breakfast was across the street and yes you have to be cautious or aggressive to cross, but didnt bother us at all. Breaky was good, combination or Thai and American. Only complaint would be the repetitious and loud music around the pool. Even when there was nobody really there, it was loud. Had to request turn down a lot and normally if good music we dont mind as long as you can still talk. All in all quite happy and would return.

Stayed at am samui palace it's a lovely hotel right in the middle of lamai so you don't have far to go for nightlife and at the same time it's so peaceful and laid back in the hotel they also have room that have there own access to the pool which is a really nice touch

We love everything about this lovely resort. This is our second stay with our two children. The staff are wonderful and helpful, the two pools stunning, the property well Maintained and clean and the breakfast delightful. I would recommend this resort to anyone and we will be back again .

Lovely rooms with comfortable beds and linens, clean and well maintained . The grounds are beautiful and the staff very friendly and helpful. A very nice breakfast and a great happy hour around the pool from noon till 5:00. A short walk to beautiful Lamai beach in one direction and across the street from the Lamai Night Market to the other. Surrounded by restaurants, bars, shops and spas, this hotel is in the heart of it all yet very peaceful and quiet. A real gem.

Great location and very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean and comfortable. Two very beautiful pools and an adequate amount of lounge chairs. Breakfast buffet was excellent with substantial selection. Definitely a good value hotel.

This is a beautiful property with two pools, a swim up bar and is 2 minutes walk to the beach or shopping. The wifi was good. The water pressure was good. There is a tv with a movie channel and a news station (in English) for the rainy moments. The breakfast buffet was typical and had enough variety each day. Overall I enjoyed my stay and the location was great. A few improvements I would suggest : I emailed the hotel twice to arrange an airport transfer and they didn’t reply. ( I suggest other travelers get a taxi from the airport as the hotel charged 40% more for arranging a pick up). I asked for an hour later checkout and was denied, I was told there are no late checkouts. I witnessed a kitchen staff member coming out of a bathroom stall and she didn’t wash her hands before returning to the kitchen. The bed and mattress were good quality, although extremely firm. It was like laying on a yoga mat on tile. I had sore hips and shoulders for most of my stay. I strongly suggest mattress toppers. The towels are for pools only. It would have been nice to have access to a towel that could be taken to the beach Or, some communication to let guests know to bring their own. A day trip was booked and the pick up was late. I asked the lady at the desk if she would call and find out if they were on their way. As I didn’t book the trip through the hotel, she wasn’t willing to help. None of these things ruined my stay and I would stay at this hotel again.

Recent Stay
Our recent ten night stay in the pool access room was nothing short of fabulous. Room was brilliant, pool excellent and daily breakfast was yum with plenty of choices. The local area was great with everything from restaurants, bars and local markets all a short stroll away. The beach is only a two minute walk as well. All hotel staff were super friendly and helpful and the free WiFi was surprisingly good. We totally enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

The air conditioner in the room barely worked and the facilities were significantly more outdated than the pictures in the booking site showed. There were also ants all over the room, including in our bed. Additionally it said in the booking that pick up from the airport and breakfast was included. That is not the case! They offer these things but for an additional charge.

Great location. Staff very friendly. Very good value for 3* hotel. Would stay again. Little down side, too many signs everywhere and no tea bags provided in room, only 1 satchet of coffee and coffee mate given. Overall great place to stay.

Lovely hotel in a great area. Had the delux pool access rooms which were really big and spotless, however it was a challenge entering/ leading the pool. A simple fix of an extra rung in the aces ladder would give this hotel a 10/10

An oasis in the heart of Lamai beach.
We booked this hotel due to its location and proximity to beach, restaurants and bars etc and in both of these points the hotel didn’t disappoint. On arrival the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and this continued throughout our stay. The two pool areas are beautifully maintained and very relaxing however the beach is 2 minutes walk away so it was a tough choice where to spend our day in the sun. We would highly recommend this hotel.

A rude Female hotel staff - disgrace to the hotel
We stayed in Room 221 for one night (check-in on 11 Jan 2019). Most of the staff of the hotel are friendly, helpful and nice. However, when we had breakfast at the hotel restaurant at ground floor on 12 Jan morning around 7;15am, the female staff wearing yellow t-shirt came up to me with an angry face and shouted at me simply because we changed our table twice. Instead of asking anything wrong or uncomfortable with us when having breakfast, she just yelled at me loudly and was very rude. She did not bother to find out the reasons why we had to change table twice (changing for the first time because there was no fan and hot, and changing for the second time because of mosquitoes bites). She is a disgrace to the hotel and it should not be the way how hotel guests /tourists are treated.

Great hotel with 2 great pools. Not one where you have to get your towel out by 7am to get a pool seat which was refreshing. We had a large family room which had plenty of space, although the bathroom is very small for such a large room. A bath on the balcony was odd as you’d never use it without clothes on :). Stay in the newer section around the square pool. Nice and peaceful place, breakfast good (not the best we’ve had but enough), staff pleasant, restaurant food during the day very good. Short walk to the beach which was fine for us. Right next to great restaurants, shops etc. We will definitely stay again.

We have stayed there before and found it excellent for us as none of us drive and it is close to all amenities. Definitely go back this year. Staff speak good English and very helpful when this time I had a severe throat infection and they actually helped me out and asked about my health after that.
