Great Location, great value

It's a convenient spot, within minutes reach of Chaweng central, but with a secluded feel, and a great lake view.

Belle situation , piscine et jardin superbes

Séjour en famille, hotel situé sur une colline, parmi les arbres, avec une piscine en hauteur ayant une vue magnifique, vraiment un plus pour cet hotel. Chambres de qualité moyenne, salle de bain vétuste mais vu les jardins de l hôtel et la piscine, la chambre m importe peu. Personnel très gentil et serviable. Seul hic, le petit déjeuné très basique et pas de café supplémentaire sans payer...

Ich War nun schon das 3 mal in Koh samui und auch im Baan suan sook. Ich kann es jedem Empfehlen der etwas Preisgünstiger wohnen möchte aber auch nicht abseits der Gesellschaft. Ich bin einfach so gerne dort, weil die Leute so zuvorkommend und freundlich sind. Ich War zu 100% zufrieden. Nächstes Jahr wieder!!!

Great bargain, lovely staff

Initially, I was dropped off at the wrong hotel with the same name. I stayed in a large spacious cabin up a very steep hill. I loved it! I don't rate the pool which looks unloved and not so clean but the beach is gorgeous, although a short walk away. You can hear loud music at night but it wasn't loud as it is a little way from the action. I liked it so much I extended my stay, however I did get bitten there more than anywhere else. Not suitable for small kids as you have to cross really busy roads to get to the beach.

Bugs+bad attitude=1/5

Bed bugs. That's all you need to know about this place. We had booking for two nights, but had to check-out after the first one cause of bugs. We went see staff at the reception and they offered another room for us, but their attitude for the problem was more like "it's your fault". After short argument they refunded our money for the second night. We asked them what they gonna do for the bugs and they didn't give any answer and when we asked again the guy behind the desk just left. That was the end of conversation.

Check where your room is there's about 5-6 that back straight on to the road and are noisy all night. Rooms where newly refurbished. The pools amazing but a trek to get up the hillside to it. Not bad for £10 for two of us.

Baan Baan OTAY!

It was a great room except for the bugs in the bathroom...they never bit me,...they were just there...bed was comfortable...a bit noisy from the bar across the street...not far from the city...the pool was great...but wear your hiking shoes...its a steep climb...cut down some of those large trees and it would be a great view...got a free ride to the airport..breakfast was ok

Go somewhere else !!

When we arrived the first thing receptionist asked was "are you sure you are at the right hotel as we do not have any booking for today" instead of making effort to find out. When I gave her the confirmation then she looked confused. She was not friendly, she looked bored. After she called agent she checked us in. Room was way up on the hill, prepare yourself to carry your own luggage. Room was OK. Horrible stains on cushions. No phone so if you need anything you need to walk up and down the hill. Going to swimming pool was a big challenge like climbing Mt Everest. Bathroom in horrible state. flush didn't work. There is sink which looked worn out and rusty,ants and other creepy crawlies everywhere. Very dirty. Room was never made, forget about it, they didn't even bother to empty the bin which was outside the bungalow so it attracted even more ants and insects. We don't expect 4 or 5 star facility for the price we paid but at least basic things should be provided. Receptionist was very unfriendly..even when we said bye she didn't even bother to acknowledge, she just gave cold look.

Hotel raisonnable

Hôtel sympathique, bien situé, non loin de la rue touristique. 1 bar à proximité que l'on entend la nuit.. mais bon... Piscine sympa, mais attention à l'accès, elle se trouve tout en haut du domaine. L'accueil est super. Pas de wifi dans les chambres basiques, uniquement dans les bungalows. Séjour non désagréable.

Last minute booking in busy samui

This was a last minute booking. It isn't located near the beach but the price reflects that. Nice view from the pool area which is worth the walk up the hill. I had 2 different rooms here. The first was pretty dark but the second had a bit more light. The 2 people who worked on the desk were very nice and helpful. Okay for a few days.

Les derniers moments de notre sejour

Très bon hôtel, situé à proximité de quelques restaurants, d'un 7 eleven, mais surtout à une petite dizaine de minutes de marche des coins qui bougent pas mal sur chaweng (green mango...) Pour ce qui est de l'hotel, les courageux qui monteront les quelques marchés trouveront une piscine à débordement avec une vue magnifique! Le personnel est agréable à souhait, accueillant, un sans fautes! Je ne peux que recommander

Staff so friendly, took us to our new hotel when we left free of charge and it to town whenever we wanted. Rooms lovely and big only thing is its a big hill up to the pool so not easy to nip up there for a quick swim and back to the room overall great place :)

Good hotel at a very reasonable price!

We stayed for one night at Baan Suan Sook and was very please with our room & it's beautiful green surroundings. The staff were extremely friendly & helped us to book ferries etc to Ko Phagnan. Location was ok & we came across a very good Thai market across the road & grabbed some amazing street food, jewellery & culture!
