We were really looking forward to our first visit to Thailand and had high hopes for this villa, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing, and we ended up leaving two nights early. The biggest issue is the location — the villa sits at the top of two extremely steep hills that most local taxis refuse to drive up due to safety concerns. This was not mentioned anywhere in the listing. Travelling with three children, it made getting in and out of the property both stressful and impractical. The villa manager recommended a single taxi company that would drive up the hill, but they charged around 2.5 times the local rate, leaving us feeling we had no real choice. Another major let-down was that the daily maid service advertised in the listing wasn’t available for the first three nights of our five-night stay. This was one of the main reasons we booked this villa, especially as we were two families staying together. To make things worse, on the third night the doorbell rang repeatedly between midnight and 6 a.m., roughly every 30 minutes to an hour. None of us, especially the children, managed to sleep. The villa itself has potential, but the combination of misleading information, accessibility problems, and the sleepless night made the stay a poor experience overall. Sadly, we wouldn’t recommend this property unless these issues are addressed and guests are properly informed upfront.
