"On the day of the check-in, I received an email saying there is building work and therefore there will be a breakfast bag in the morning instead of a buffet, and that there would be no compensation etc since this was planned. At no point during my booking - months prior - was there any information provided whatsoever that the hotel entrance would be a building site or that the breakfast buffet would be off. Had I known, I would have booked elsewhere, as the there were other options within the same budget, and the breakfast is what swayed me here. The room itself - the bathroom was clean, the room looked fine. The staff. Let's say if you're not a white Swede, I'd recommend going elsewhere, as you will feel the difference in treatment. Not from all staff - some were lovely. But some were consistently extremely polite and kind to white Swedes, and simply tolerating anyone else. It's a budget hotel, so all I expected was a breakfast buffet and decent staff. Got none of the first, and half of the second. So if you want a room and don't care about your breakfast or how the staff treat you, it's a good choice. "
