The property is in a very quiet and beautiful area surrounded by the Murray river on three sides. Very muddy when wet and rubbish not far from the cabins.

Excellent holiday park for kids. Lots of activities for them to do and amazing wildlife to see. The staff went out of their way to return a much loved toy to my son after it was left behind. Thank you

The beautiful gum tress and that the park backed onto the Murray. We saw a koalas and kangaroos on site as well.

Peaceful. Glad we knew about dirt road in -approx 3 kms but makes it even better. Secluded. Stayed in one of the villas. Perfect spot. Up high so perfect view of Murray and faces directly to sunset.

Secluded getaway
I loved the seclusion of the Time Out Hilday Park. It’s just the place to get away from the stress of the city. I will take my dog next time. And having a private beach in the river was a bonus

Lovely holiday park
Lovely peaceful place to stay. Very clean and well maintained cabin. The only noise at night was the male koala roaring in the tree next to our cabin!! Close to local town with good pub for meals if you don’t want to cook.

Great Surprise
The Park was fantastic and a great surprise. After a lot of dramas on the way up, google maps led us the interesting back way along tracks but the park has lots of signs posted at key turns we could trust (not google maps) and found our way there late at night. Cabin was clean and comfortable.

Not what was expected
When we first pulled onto the road leading to the place we thought we had been scammed to be honest but once we got there it was beautiful our villa was amazing we had koalas outside our villa and kangaroos there was a small convenience store that was cute staff were so lovely over all I can’t wait to go back we loved our stay the kids had so much fun and loved seeing all the wild life 😁😁😁😁😁😁

The positioning of this park cannot be better. Kangaroos and koalas within touching distance with the Mighty Murray in the background. Well worth it

Great family stay, had 2 bedroom villa.
Excellent place to stay, beautiful beach area on the murray. Family loved the brand new cabins. Only note is we didnt realise the 2km dirt track to get to park, but worth it. Lots of kangaroos!!

Great Holiday park - loved the lakes and the location by the river. Our cabin as we already knew was basic - okay but a bit cramped and old. We were an older couple and we were surrounded by young couples with children. Some of them stayed up fairly late at night drinking and making a fair bit of noise. A great place for this age group - maybe not for ours. The park is not cramped is very spacious - a great place for kids and families.

Great getaway
We only had 2 nights available but my boys were so keen to return, how could I refuse. We upgraded our accommodation as we only had the 2 nights. The views were spectacular of the rescind and the river. Lots of upgrades happening at the park, hope prices don't rise too much due to these. Overall we had a great short stay and boys already asking when we are going back again

Great spot on the river surrounded by bush
We had a great relaxing time surrounded by bush, wildlife and the beautiful river. Cabin had all that we needed and very comfortable. Dinner at the local pubs in Tocumwal only a short drive. Look forward to staying again.

Peaceful weekend
2 nights in river view villa. Very clean and comfortable villa with lovely outlook wetlands to Murray River unfortunately no river access which was a shame, but overall very comfortable, clean modern villa and very well kept resort, beds very comfy as well. Quite remote 3 klm up the dirt road but we would stay there again.

Time Out...yes we did.
We really enjoyed the park and it's surroundings. New managers are in and are really ramping up any maintenance issues. We were there straight after the Easter holiday period so it was very quiet which is what we wanted. They had 4500 people there over the holidays so i wouldn't go then if you don't like crowds. It's right on the Murray River so a magnificent area.

Time out cabin Koonoomoo.
Very relaxing with scenic river views. Clean and comfortable but a bit small for 2 couples; one bedroom with double bed the other with bunk beds probably meant for children.

Lovely but disappointing and misrepresented
Beautiful and peaceful location and we requested late checkout which was cheerfully agreed to. Initially the owners were very obliging and easy to get on with. However, the cabin was not as represented. Although it was clean the bed was very hard and the "fully equipped kitchen" consisted of a littlle microwave, 4 burners, a frying pan a couple of pots and a few utensils to cook with. Unfortunately when we tried to shower on the morning of our departure we found there was no hot water. When I told the lady at checkout she told me she would have shifted me...but that would not have been much help when we were leaving. Another frustrating feature was the rule that our vehicle could not be left near the cabin, but had to be parked in the "car park."

Beautiful Park... Not a great cabin
Time out is a beautiful park nesseld away in the bush. We have camped in Tocumwal for 40 years plus (22 for me) with countless members of friends and family however this year we chose to stay in time out due to having a 3month old who would not cope with the heat. We absolutely loved the park do not get me wrong I would camp there in a heartbeat but our cabin was horrendous! We had a pet friendly cabin (15) that was dirty, dust everywhere, cobwebs with spiders inside and out, we had two massive cockroaches come out of the cupboards where all the cooking utensils were. Other things were our normal sized portacot didn't fit in our room so my husband was forced to sleep on the foam vinyl sofa as we needed to be next to our 3month old. The door to get into the bathroom required us to turn on our side and squeeze through (we are normal sized adults), one of the days we went four hours with no water ( not acceptable with a baby), the air con was average, it did not have an electric kettle ( if I had of known this I would of brought one from home ) too inconvenient in the middle of the night to light a stove with matches that actually required two people to do it and then wait for a kettle on a stove with a screaming baby. Overall we loved the park and its facilities but we would never stay in a cabin there again, for the money we paid we were very dissapointed.

Great Water View of the River and local Koala's.
What a great Room! Also Fridge full of Goodies for Kids ( Drinks Chocs Icy Poles ) which we didn't realise until we Checked ou, t were courtesy freebies. We didn't touch them :(. Room AirConditioner was on when we arrived so we were wrapped as the whole cabin was cool as we arrived. Only gripe was our bed mattress was a bit hard, but we are spoilt with a large king size bed with a very expensive luxury mattress at home. Thanks very much, we will be back for sure, had a great one night stay in this gorgeous cabin on stilts overlooking the water. The Mason Family ( Cranbourne South Victoria )

A weekend with the grandkids
Booking was simple. We were welcomed in a very friendly way. Cabin was clean. Could have been better kitchen utensils provided, eg grater, sharp knife. With three of us I would appreciate a little more comfy seating in the lounge/dining area. Facilities, eg jumping mat and games room were good with children. Nice bit of river for swimming. Staff very friendly and helpful. Altogether a nice weekend. Koalas were gorgeous.

Nice, clean cabin in a lovely, leafy setting
Park Staff were particularly pleasant and accommodating. Would certainly stay there if ever in the area again, actually would like to spend a few days, rather than overnight.
