Hasty conversion of a traditional Brussels home by freelance contractor. Shame because very good location in relation to EU institutions. "The apartment we had was lovely!!! After reading the reviews we were sceptical but we took the risk and it definitely paid off!!! It was spacious, luxurious and spotless. "We were here for 1 night arriving during the air traffic control issue and this was a stop over for Eurostar. So limited exposure. The room we had was fine, it was clean but is well worn, you can see it in everything. Bed was comfy and for the few hours we were there it was fine, i wouldn't want to stay for any longer. The real downside is the local area it is horrific and i don't think that even does it justice. I'm not one to feel intimidated but this is bad gangs of men/youths hanging...

"My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and it was lovely. The room was spacious, quiet and comfortable.The location of the hotel is also good. While we were in Brussels, we took a local train to Braine L'Alleud station to visit Waterloo battlefield/Lion's Mound. The museum was excellent and climbing 225 steps was worth the trouble. I will recommend the hotel."
