"This place was fantastic it was huge and had a fabulous view of Mt Fuji. Parking at the door, good AC and a great hairdryer!!
There is a big Daisio at the front of the property. The property was quiet it is tucked away off the street."

"The hotel was very comfortable and clean, and the hosts were very friendly and polite. They accommodated our every need. There was a wonderful balcony and small garden, where we could enjoy Mount Fuji and relax while enjoying a cup of coffee. The room also had a separate washing machine with dryer, which saved us the trouble of having to go elsewhere for laundry. We stayed for three days, and my family, especially the children, thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel. While the hotel is a bit...

"Wonderful stay. Staff were incredibly helpful. We got lucky and had views of Mt. Fugi almost our entire stay. I would highly recommend staying here. "

"Clean and updated property with many amenities. Very comfortable!
Without transportation, itโs quite far from train/ bus station especially when on foot with multiple pieces of luggage. Not many restaurants in the area.

"Stayed here for a work trip. Great location and friendly staff. I was late for check-in due to transportation and staff stayed up to wait for me. Location is nice and quiet, about 30min walk from downtown."

"Excellent view of Mt. Fuji. The owner is very nice, speaks good English, picked us up from the station for free, and gave us wonderful recommendations around the area, also responsive to texts. They also upgraded our room to a 1 whole house to ourselves, very clean and fully furnished. If you want a quieter and relaxing area with a great view of Mt Fuji, this is the one!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Kasuitei Ooya. The whole vibe and decor of the ryokan (room and building overall) was very calming and captivating. The breakfast and dinner provided was phenomenal and everything we ate was fresh.
The beds were tad bit less comfy then what we have previously experienced with japanese futons but rest assured, they are still very comfortable to sleep on.
The staff were all super friendly, helpful and very accomodating to our needs.
We are very greatful for this experience and would certainly stay here again if given the opportunity."
"Our Fuji Exress train got cancelled because of Typhoon and we couldnโt find any other way because all the other ways of transport were close due to typhoon so we couldnโt find any other way to get there at Kawaguchiko. We called the hotel to cancel and refund but they didnโt even listen to us. The staff who picked up the phone didnโt speak English well and he said he cannot cancel or refund. So we waisted 300 dollars worth of stay for not even being there and something which was out of our control.
I would not recommend booking this hotel in advance. Very rude staff on the phone."
"Clean room daily delivery of water and towels, air conditioning was nice and cold and the room had a humidifier which we loved. Very spacious easy to take stairs or elevator. Laundry room was very clean and provided laundry supplies and was very reasonably priced. Walking distance to Lawsons for snacks."
"The hotel information sheet given at check in was outdated. The mt fuji pancakes house did not open until 10am. Other than the disappointment of that the stay was fine."
