Bargain rate hotel in Kouvola

Late check in with entry code. Never interacted with staff other than at breakfast. Basic room with aging ammenities. Generally clean and functional.

It seems to be more night club than hotel and there isn't any soundproofing. If you try to find place where to sleep, it is better to choose from other hotels.

Didn't have too high expectations - too warm

We didn't really have any high expectations but had it not been nearly 30C outside, I think we would've had a great stay. When it's not too hot outside and no fan is needed, I'm sure the rooms are good. The bed was comfy, and lots of space in the rooms and breakfast was good. The location was excellent as we were attending a wedding nearby. Nice to walk by the river.

Vähän pettymys

Hotellissa tuoksahti home ulkopuolella (ehkä uimaosastolta jossa ei käyty), ja käytävät myös haiskahtivat vanhalle hielle. Huoneessa hajuja ei onneksi ollut, mutta lämmitys oli liian kovalla eikä sitä saanut pienemmälle. Ei viitsitty sanoa aamulla asiasta mitään, koska virkailija oli niin pahantuulisen oloinen eikä hymyillyt kertaakaan. Aamupala oli myös hieman suppea, ei ollut pekonia eikä pannaria jne. Jos tarvii vaan unet, niin kyllä tämä välttää kuitenkin.

Pesäpallon Itä-länsi -tapahtuman takia Kouvolan hotellien hinnat olivat tapissa, joten oli järkevämpää tyytyä vajaan vartin päässä sijaitsevan Kuusankosken tarjontaan. Odotukset eivät olleet kovin korkeat "vain" kolmen tähden hotellin suhteen, mutta tämä hotelli ylitti kaikki odotuksemme. Respa tosin ei ole auki 24h, ja käsittääkseni jo sen takia tähtiluokitus ei voi olla tuon korkeampi. Aamupala oli suorastaan erinomainen, huone tilava sekä siisti ja palvelukin ihan viimeisen päälle. Päivälämpötilat olivat pyörineet 30 asteen kummallakin puolella jo muutaman päivän ajan, ja hotellista tuli aamulla sähköpostiin varoitus, jonka mukaan valitettavasti huoneissa ei ole ilmastointeja/viilennyslaitteita, mutta huoneista löytyy pöytätuulettimet. Pelon sekaisin tuntein kirjauduimme sisään, mutta kuinka ollakaan huoneessa oli kuitenkin irrallinen jälkiasennettu ilmastointilaite, jolla sai huoneen viilennettyä haluttuun lämpötilaan. Hinta/laatusuhde oli kaiken kaikkiaan erinomainen.

Huone oli siisti, mutta aika pahasti haisi uudelle maalille ja tämä teki asioinnista todella epämiellyttävän, aamulla särki päätä. Muuten henkilökunta asiallinen ja kohtuullinen aamupala (buffet). Hotellissa oli myös sauna ja uimaallas, mutta ei voi kertoa enempää, koska en käynyt henkilökohtaisesti.

Huonoin hotelli missä olen ollut Suomessa. Huoneet olivat likaiset ja erittäin kylmät (ulkona nollakeli). Televisiot eivät toimineet (muutkin valittivat samasta asiasta eli ongelma ei ollut vain yhdessä huoneessa). Aamupala oli muuten ok paitsi, että leipä oli vielä osittain jäässä ja lämpimät ruuat maistuivat hyvin hyvin oudolle. Henkilökunta pahoitteli tilannetta ja palvelu itsessään oli ihan hyvä.

Perussiisti hotelli

Huone oli siisti. Lattiamatossa hieman pinttyneitä tahroja, mutta muuten ihan siistiä. Huoneessa oli sänky, sohva, pieni tv, jääkaappi ja kylpyhuone. Suihku oli siisti ja hyväkuntoinen. Sänky oli aika kova ja jouset tuntuivat hieman läpi. Ulkoa tulevat äänet viikonloppuyönä tulevat hieman läpi huoneeseen, joten en suosittele herkkäuniselle.
