We booked a family holiday. The children were given a double bed. We asked for two single beds. They refused. The two rooms should have been next to eachother. They had my boys in a room behind us. The power in the boys room did not exist. They could not power the phones/ipads. The internet was working for 30 mins in the 4 days we stayed. We booked 19 days. We asked for a refund, they asked us to call wotif. We were refused a refund. The children were given one sheet. My other son had to use a towel to sleep. The first reason for not refunding our payment for 19 days was due to us not paying the breakfast bill and returning the key. We did so the next day. Then the refusal for refunding our remaining days not stayed in the hotel was due to the hotel regulations. Wotif has stated they can not do anything without the hotels permission. I spoke to 5 different couples, they all could not access internet. One couple had a child with ADHD and this was not ideal. Her husband was working on holiday. He could not access internet for work. 40 occassions I went to ask for help to get internet. They said it was all fixed, I would head to my room, and it was not working. They lied each time, that it was fixed.

Mai was so very helpful and friendly. The landscape offers a variety of vegetation that made it beautiful. The location against the cliffs gave it a remote feel while being only 12-15 minutes walking distance from dining options and 7/11. Breakfast was on point with several standard and local fare options on the buffet. The driver service to the beach is included and was timely, safe and convenient. A/C also worked great. Some elements could use updating but overall we were pleased. Good value for the unique experience.

Property was beautiful but, staff less then helpful. The staff in the restaurant was terrible, very unfriendly. Breakfast was to be available at 6:30am but when we were there at 6:40 and wanted eggs she told us that they didn’t do eggs till 7am! Unbelievable....,

You stay in your own cottage. Some look a bit tired. No internet in rooms. AC was good Bed was hard. Breakfast was OK. Pool was OK. Beach shuttle works well to beach or restaurants. 10 min walk to good restaurants. Sauna is not in working order.

This place exceeded our expectations. Found it last minute for the weekend. The room was pretty basic but clean and comfortable. I love that each “room” was a freestanding cottage. The scenery is tropical and lush. The grounds are easy to navigate. The pool was our favorite spot to relax. We are at the restaurant twice, food and prices were good. The free breakfast was pretty average but hey...I’m not going to complain about a free meal! Also, they run a free shuttle to town every hour which ended up being really crucial for us. Overall, we had a great experience and we will definitely return in the future!

Better than I expected some bungalows that were without tv and just a fan were not the greatest but upgraded to a room with aircon and enjoyed my stay breakfast was good with the cook on hand to make you a fresh omelette also

If you were to stay in this hotel, please book a Superior room onwards with air-conditioned. Because their standard room is horrible and you will find leach climbing your bathroom wall.

Great pool and restaurant.
If you are looking for a bure in a quiet jungle like setting with tall cliffs as a back drop then this resort would be a good pick.

Great stay. Will do it again.
I stayed here for one week in April and it was just what I hoped it would be. I wanted somewhere off the main strip for peace and quiet and I got it. The hotel is set at the foot of the cliff and you feel that you are in the jungle, especially at night when the frogs and insects are making their presence known. There is a small pool situated at the foot of the cliff in a stunning setting. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was staying in one of the basic fan bungalows. For what I paid I have absolutely no complaints. The price of the room includes a buffet breakfast for 2 which had a good choice of options. There is a free shuttle on the hour which takes you to the main area of Ao Nang. This works very well. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. Hopefully I will be back in July for another week on my way back.

Brilliant hotel in great location
Our stay here was brilliant. The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The hotel itself was gorgeous and the view of the cliff from the pool was stunning. The free transfer service to the beach was fantastic with it taking you/ picking up every hour. We rated the cleanliness of the room a 4 just purely because there were 2 cockroaches in our room but as we were staying in the jungle, that is pretty much to be expected. Highly recommend this hotel.

Ao Nang Cliff View - Lovely Location ....
We have stayed at Ao Nang Cliff View around 4 years ago and really enjoyed our time there, the bungalows are excellent situated in the jungle which is quiet, the room are clean and spacious, the staff on reception and in the restaurant are lovely. The location is out of town which suits us perfectly and would suit anyone not wanting to be in the main Ao Nang town area, there is a shuttle to the town at regular times. Breakfast is very good. The only issue when we visited around 4 years ago was around the pool area it was beginning to look a little tired and tatty. Sadly the pool area was even worst during our recent stay, decking deteriorating and needs replacing, no sunshades/umbrellas although I did mention this to the receptionist and she said we should go back when we wanted one and they would give us a sunshade? The pool itself no longer has the waterfall at the top working also the small section of pool are below the main pool which looks as though its for children was not too clean at all.

Great location
We loved staying here. The location is great! The staff was so nice and helpful. I love that it’s in the jungle. The breakfast was good. The rooms aren’t as nice but it’s worth it. You can rent scooters from them and they are very cheap!

Beautiful surroundings
This hotel was only a 5min shuttle into town or a cruisey 25min walk. We liked being out of the hussle and bustle or the main street. Rooms are fine, everything you need if you're not too fussy. It's set in a beautiful location at the base of a cliff and there are monkeys, peacocks, etc on the grounds which was great for the kids. Krabi itself was beautiful - plenty to do and see or you can just relax.

Environment was awesome, but rooms disappointing
Staff were ok, infact quite helpful. Rooms on the otherhand were dirty on arrival. Linen was thread bare. Pillows shocking. Mould on the ceilings in the bathroom. Overall all very tired and in need of repair. I could not fault breakfast and the small restaraunt was quite good and reasonably priced. Regular shuttles to and from town were very handy. If you are on a budget and like nature, then not a bad place to stay if you are not too fussy

It was a beautiful Resort! Extremely close to everything. Staff were extremely friendly. Free excursion if you stay 4nights. Their is monkeys at the pool. We thought that was really cool. The included breakfast was perfect, it had a good variety of things. We had one of the basic rooms and it was really cute. It had a nice balcony and it was very private.

Gorgeous area with stunning pool
Loved this spot. It's a fab price for such a gorgeous view and with a clean pool. Yes it did miss mosaics but was gorgeous and staff here is lovely. I forgot my passport and they brought it to the pier for me forme to collect saving me having to return all the he way to hotel. Absolute bargain and great for the avarage Asia travellers.

Serene property, location but very bad service.
This property is right on the cliff as the name suggests. If you like to stay in lapse of nature, it's very nice as you can hear birds chirping, trees swaying n no other noise. The rooms are interesting as they have treehouses or bungalows with beautiful balconies. Now the big drawbacks. The staff is rude, they complain and crib even to replace your coffee packets. They have no phone connectivity so u need to walk down all the way to get anything. They say they have no people to give service!! Strange as they are in hospitality business. After paying so much, you get bad looks when you demand a small extra bottle of water or a creamer satchet! Their staff doesn't understand English except the person at reception. But they do know to be rude.

This hotel is amazing for nature lovers. In the trees nestled up against cliffs. You will see many birds here including peacocks (and some roosters - bring earplugs!) There's a friendly cat who lives here, and the staff is amazing. I can not say enough good things about the staff, including the guy who kept calling me "Mr. Vancouver" I felt welcome, warm and happy the whole time I stayed here. Great little bungalow-style room, a pool, and nice breakfast each morning. The front desk even arranged for our laundry to be done - just dropped off at the front desk for only 80THB per kilo - which is a great deal for the service.

Local Restaurant is great , they have simple food , but its delicious. The rooms/hotel in my opinion are run down, we had a very uncomfortable mattress that was rock hard.The Shower was absolutely useless and not enjoyable to use.Beautiful location to be in right in the forest.

Very nice hotel to stay, but wifi didn't work so well in our room had to go to reception for it to work good ( only 2 minute walk) Shower was rubbish only trickled out.

Reception at the hotel was beautiful and then it all went downhill from there. Room was small dark and dirty. Description provided was that we would have a fridge and TV in the room and there wasn't either. When I asked reception about this I was told that I could pay to upgrade to a room with TV and fridge. After approx 20mins complaining they brought a fridge to the room. On the plus side there was a shuttle taxi service from the hotel down to the beach. Would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Avoid like the plague.

This was my 2nd visit to the hotel ,for the people who loves nature it's heaven,the restaurant food and people r excellent,rooms well maintained and it is one of the best hotels in krabi,the only thing lacks back in hotel is front office staff ,they r not so helpful

Secluded, comes with a shuttle that makes it easier to get into town. Rooms were not the cleanest. The air conditioning in our room leaked all night. If you are a light sleeper, room is not for you. You can hear roosters in the morning. If you do not like roosters, chickens, turkeys walking around resort, do not stay here. Free breakfast is good, eggs, toast, juices, noodles, rice.

Beautiful area to stay in, shuttle transfers to the main beach and shops were easy and on-time. On-site food was pretty average, but easy to get to better places. I stayed in a fan-room bungalow and was very happy and comfortable, though if you can't do without creature comforts this would not suit you as it was very basic. I would happily stay there again.

Sadly only if you overlook the poor upkeep of the hotel, your stay can be enjoyable. The rooms are far from the reception area. There is no telephone in the room or umbrellas and only a very flimsy lock. So if it rains you either stay indoors or be prepared to get wet. Also you should hope that there are no incidences like the air con breaking down or a snake entering your room in the night because no one will come to your rescue. There is no staff in the night except for an ancient security guard. Breakfast is pathetic! I can't imagine anyone being proud to serve what was laid out for us. The pool looked abandoned. On our last day, because we were leaving very early the next morning and it had been raining most mornings we asked the staff for umbrellas in case it rained. She said that they had run out of umbrellas. I asked her what help she could offer if it rained the next day since we had to also drag our luggage to the reception. She glared at me like i just asked her to solve global warming. Finally her reply was "I don't know". Frustrated we left. However the next morning the ancient security guard came to our room to help with the luggage. In a nutshell this experience could be sum up as: when you pay peanuts, you get monkeys.

Incredibly friendly staff and relaxing stay. The rooms were immaculate and the jungle settling was very calming. My only complaint would be the condition of the pool. It needs some refurbishment and updating. The hotel is located a little way away from the beach and restaurants but the hourly shuttle service made everything easily accessible.

Nice for short stay. Every day is so tiring after coming back from many activities such as Island Hopping, travel to Hot Spring Waterfall, Blue Pool & Emerald Pool. No mosquitoes in the room even though some previous reviews highlight on the need of mosquitoes repellent. Away from the TV due to staying in a fan room. The room service changes the bed sheets & towels everyday. The breakfast was OK. Not so much varieties, but the taste was great. Plus, the provides HALAL food. :)

With some work could be an outstanding resort!
Pros: very cheap! Lovely pool area (amazing cliff side location) quietly located in the resort with free transfers to the beach throughout the day. Included breakfast buffet was ok. Big bed! Free toiletries! Lots a cats around, so cute! Cons: the entire place needs a little tlc but has the potential to be amazing (but then could charge higher room rates!)

Wood cabins in a jungle
That's what this hotel is about, it is just some wood cabins in a jungle. We can even hear some strange wild animal sounds in the night. The way all cabins are arranged, it takes time to familiarize with it and to find our room. Given that location, the facilities and rooms are not quite pleasing. We had to deal with ants, lizards and mosquitoes in the room. The bathroom also was very old. Pillows were so hard, it felt like they were made of wood. We tried their free breakfast one day, but looking at the condition of their restaurant, and what was available for breakfast, we skipped it completely for the rest of the days. The only saving grace is the helpfulness of staff. Even though most of them didn't understand English, they tried to help out in whatever way possible. She helped me out to book the tours that I wanted to. Since this is far from beach area, they provide hourly free shuttle to Patong beach, which helps a lot.

I loved the lush jungle around the resort, it was quiet and quaint, especially compared to touristy Ao Nang. However, the room itself left much to be desired. Hard bed, old stained bed sheets, ants everywhere, and the bathroom was straight out of a horror film. It's too bad, with a couple of tweaks this resort could really do well.

Everything was ok, can get better for your money
Everything was ok, you can get better for your money. We were expecting a superior hotel as it isn't a budget cost. The pool has broken tiles all around the edge and is freezing, really particularly cold, so unusable, when we sunbathed around the pool, we were ambushed by monkeys, you may think that sound stun, its not, they wend through our bags and took food etc. The room was very bad, the windows didn't lock so we never had security in the room, lots of little bugs (due to the windows not being able to lock fully), and a building site opposite our room, literally opposite and very noisy. Breakfast, flies in jam, no vege hot options. Also don't think you are booking somewhere with a sauna, their sauna is a filthy shed that you wouldn't even want to sit inside.

Hotel is a little walk away from town but the walk is actually very easy but the hotel also puts on a shuttle bus if you do not wish to walk. Room was really nice, clean and comfortable. The only downside of the room is the bathroom is a little dated and the shower pressure is very poor. Other facilities swimming pool/restaurant/gym are great and the staff were always willing to help.
