The staff were great. The hotel is clean, the rooms are a good size, the water pressure is acceptable, it is quiet (unless noisy guests are resident) and the beds are fine, if you like firm beds. It is in walking distance to the town. The staff will help you arrange excursions. We stayed here because we arrived late on a flight but then we chose to come back because we were unhappy with our accommodation in Railey Beach. Happy we did.

Nice little place to stay in Krabi. The owner is very nice and ready to help anytime. We left earlier as we had to meet some other friend. If you want to stay in a inexpensive place who is calm,clean that is the place. Nothing fancy

This is a new building, very clean and ideally located just off the main road in a quiet neighborhood. The only negative is that because if they way it is constructed, the sound proofing is terrible.

Great in a pinch! We had to leave Phi Phi a day early because of weather, and Baan Ssamrarn was convenient, really reasonable priced, and very accommodating. The bathroom was very clean which was a huge improvement from our previous Thailand accommodations. It was also in walking distance to good food and massages :) Would definitely recommend!

It was a lovely hotel made nicer by the actions of the propriorator and his fellow staff. Well connected to various markets and sea port together with taxis. Also provides the opportunity to seat outside and mingle with fellow guests which iI hadnt found with other places I stayed in. So overall will recommend Baan Samrarn.

Excellent budget hotel
Budget hotel. Very clean, fast WiFi (35mbs download). Front desk was helpful and friendly. Couple of mins walk from town. Would recommend for anyone looking for good no frills accommodation.

Great location, friendly people, but beds rock hard. However we think this is a Thailand thing rather than hotel. Overall recommended, but don't dare to ask for more than the given 2 towels. No chance!

Basic but very clean
The owners of the hotel were very pleasant! It’s a very clean hotel! Basic amenities. Very close to the food market and airport shuttle. Very helpful with regards to koh phi phi transportation and ferry ticket purchase.

Average comfort place.
Room is good size, although no elevator for four floors. No tea or coffee making facilities, TV has limited viewing with no English channels. Place is relatively new although some of finishes are a lower standard.

A lovely stay!
Pure chance I ended up here. It’s not in the center of KL from a foodie or nightlife perspective; but it’s got a nearby mall, convenience stores, some great local food hall type eateries; some interesting electrical/electronics and loads of printing storesnearny; so if you want some solar panels or business cards printing you’re definitely in the right place! You’re only a short Grab or Uber ride away from the hotspots - recommended

First time in Thailand, Krabi to be specific
The hotel wasn’t far from the port from Phi Phi, also for the price it was beyond acceptable. The staff was nice and professional I also rented a Vespa from the hotel for 250 Baht such a great deal thank you from “The Art of Following a Dream,” Lybys & Hector

A little disappointing
Being greeted by a very stern "remove your shoes" didn't start us if well. I am diabetic and just getting over cancer so it's really important that I don't get cut or infection. Given that you had to walk all upstairs to your room I was reluctant. The place is spotlessly clean, fridge came in very handy. Nice size balcony. Had to ask for the complimentary water. Difficult to get out through front door of hotel due to all of the owners and kids shoes everywhere, was a trip hazard. The family live here and need to remember they are selling this place as a hotel not a homestay. Kids could be heard crying sometimes early morning. We had booked a second week but cancelled it, mainly due to being made to feel uneasy. A smile wouldn't go amiss. I always felt uncomfortable coming in and going out as was hardly ever acknowledged. Better and more local places to stay such as Hop Inn, which is more central, cheaper and much friendlier. Also it's up quite a steep hill if walking into town. I wouldn't stay here again.

Quiet & Friendly
The owners at the front desk were lovely and helped us out with our ferry transport to Koh Phangan for cheap. The room was excellent, with good aircon and a view! Very quiet location, but only 5 minutes walk to the night markets for some good food and smoothies! Would highly recommend.

After a long trip from Koh Samui, we were delighted to find our hotel was situated a short walk from the airport bus terminal in Krabi Town. On arrival we were greeted with a smile & true Thai hospitality. We were only staying one night before heading to Phi Phi Don, the room was basic but modern & very clean. Perfect for our needs. The location is vey close to Krabi town centre & near by restaurants. The owner was truly a delight as he helped us find the pier for the ferry to Phi Phi & even provided us a lift there the following morning. On top of this he also offered to collect us when we came back from Phi Phi & drive us to the airport for much less than a normal taxi would have cost. Him & his family were genuinely nice Thai people. We would definitely stay here again.

Really good location and excellent staff!
This is a brand new hotel, so taxi drivers may not know it so tell them to take you near City Hall. Its owned by an English speaking family who are incredibly helpful and friendly. The location is excellent as it's a 5-7 minute walk to cafes (try Gecko Cabane and Chalita), bars (711 is very close for cheap drinks too), the Krabi pier (I recommend catching a long boat to Railay Beach for $150 baht) and the food stalls at night. The AC and mini fridge worked awesome and the room had a really nice view with greenery.

Good new hotel - very helpful staff - go for it!
We stopped in Krabi Town en route to Phi Phi Island. It's quite a quiet place compared to Ao Nang but more Thai than Tourist, which is good. The hotel is quite new and the manager and staff really try hard to provide a good service. Internet was dodgy at first but quickly fixed. The hotel was a bit noisy at night with late night Russians arriving back and the stairwell echoed and the doors were noisy. But thankfully they checked out the next day and everything was good. Hotel is close to anything you might want to do in Krabi Town. Overall a nice place - I'd stay again and happy to recommend.
