Clean and functional

Not the prettiest part of town, and the stair/lobby is like a tenement block, but the room was clean and spacious enough for our one night stay - well priced for what you get so would recommend for a cheap, no-frills, bed-for-the-night type of stay in Krakow. Shame about the 7am 'alarm clock'...building works next door started early with drilling into the wall...but thankfully no hangover... ;)

extremely bad , he robbed us (double deposit)

Before I came he charged my friend non-refund deposit from hand and after we left the place I saw he charged extra deposit from my credit card too. Double robbery! Extremely unpleasent men, he changed our room without even asking when we came, he behaved abnormal too. Extremely dissatisfied, shame on you Hotels.com too for not being clear. I will tell everyone about this, I want my money back!

Globalement satisfaisant

Le séjour c'est globalement bien passé, l'appartement est fonctionnel mais un peu peit, il n'y a pas de vrai table malgré la kitchnette. Nous avons rencontré quelques difficulté au début. Il n'y a pas d'accueil, il faut appeller un numéro de téléphone et le gerant ne parle pas tres bien anglais. La personne n'est pas forcement sur les lieux lors de notre arriver. le paiement ce fait en especes à l'arriver aussi.

Great location in Kazimierz!

Perfect location in the heart of Kazimierz, coffee shop downstairs, walking distance to the main square (rynek) of Krakow and all the tourist attractions. Numerous small shops selling local artist goods and one of a kind items. No shortage of food or fun in the area. Host speaks english and can offer tour packages to outside areas if interested.

The owner picked me up from the train station, which was greatly appreciated. The building is damp and smells mouldy; however the apartment itself was clean and odourless. Satellite TV worked well, as did the wi-fi. Good for what you pay for. It's one great aspect is its location.

disgusting stinky apartment

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I don`t normally leave reviews but my bad experience with staying at the Rainbow Apartments, I felt it necessary to make sure people have this information before booking. Marius, the main contact demanded full payment before we were given the keys for the apartment!! [Suspicious and I smelled a rat] On arrival at these 'luxurious apartment', at first I thought we had entered another different occupied property. There was a dirty mattress with a filthy bunched up duvet on the floor with dirty cups and plates in the sink. To get upstairs there was a dangerously steep staircase leading to a crammed space squashed with two beds. I had to crouch to move around, otherwise I would have hit my head!!! This was most certainly what was advertised on hotels.com website. Totally false advertising. I was booked and paid for 5 days and phoned Marius to complain, no answer, called all the other numbers, NO ANSWER!!! So we spent one terribly uncomfortable night on hard stinky mattresses. The next morning, after having a cold shower [no hot water] and drying myself with their threadbare towels, I managed to finally get hold of Marius who was unapologetic and unapproachable about our complaints. He refused to move us into another apartment. I decided to cancel but was told 'they do not refund'!!! [No wonder he was anxious to get full payment upfront!!!!] So my final plea for anyone considering this property.....PLEASE DO NOT!!!

A great place if you just need a place to sleep

The staff were very helpful and informative. The room was clean, although the bedding and the towels were a little worse for wear. The location is great, right in the middle of Kazimierz with access to restaurants and cafes. This does make the night somewhat noisy, especially since the window open onto the street. This may disturb some light sleepers but didn't bother us. The bathroom is very nicely remodeled. If you just need a place to sleep with great access to Krakow, even on foot, hesitate no further.
