"Staying 2 nights at Saikaew beach resort was great. The room was very good and amenities. The staff was excellent and the restaurant and cafe were very good. This is a good location, right on the beach. Plenty of free loungers that were more comfortable than most places have. Pepe was a very helpful staff member and gave us tips where to go on the island. "

Due to the strong waves and high winds, some garbage gets washed up on the shore, but the staff do a good job of cleaning it up. Because of its location, food options are limited, so plan accordingly. Tip: If you enjoy fruits, buy them from the fruit stands on the way to the resort—they’re much cheaper compared to the prices in Bangkok. Having the pool was a huge plus, especially when the beach wasn’t accessible."
