"We have been travelling a lot this summer for drum corps and based on the declining conditions of hotels everywhere for the most part, we weren't expecting much but we were pleasantly surprised to find that this was one of the few we had returned to that had maintained it's standards since last year. Breakfast was good and the dining area was spacious. The hotel was very quiet, despite being busy, and the front desk actually recorded our request for late checkout. Best of all, the room and bathroom didn't have any smells, although I could tell that the tub area could do with a decent scrubbing. Someone had set an alarm on the clock radio for midnight, which we could not figure out how to turn off. The dials appeared to be in some weird runic alphabet and it was very difficult to get behind the panel and unplug it. Later, we heard someone ask the front desk how to turn off the clock radio. Why bother supplying such a thing that just annoys your guests?!"
