"I wasn't entirely sure about this place given the lack of information, but I'm glad we ended up camping here. I opted for the new glamping tents which were fantastic! The camp itself is primarily families who've been coming to this location (and the camp next door) for decades so it's not exactly a place for tourists... it's a place to experience, particularly to see nature in action - clean water, the Nordic summer sun, great people. This was easily the highlight of our 3-week vacation....

"The staff at Hotel Klaekken was helpful and friendly. The pool was wonderful. We stayed for dinner and breakfast and the serving staff was friendly, and the breakfast was a typical continental style. The dinner was a short menu, but tasty. The rooms had comfortable beds and a few touches here and there of modern updates. We stayed here for 1 night in between flights at Oslo airport. Our kids liked the pool. We also explored the town and waterfall in nearby Honefoss and ate at the steakhouse which was also pretty good."
