"From the moment we arrived at Nusfjord Resort, my wife and I were struck by how effortlessly everything ran. The staff were not only incredibly efficient but also genuinely warm and welcoming. The cabin we stayed in was charming, retaining some of the features of its original purpose as a fishing hut, but most definitely providing the comfort and facilities of a modern room. The scenery here is nothing short of breathtaking — dramatic fjord views, colourful fishing cabins, and the serene beauty of the surrounding mountains and sea. It’s the kind of place where you find yourself pausing just to take it all in – which we frequently did. My wife and I took a walk to the nearby lakes recommended by some of the hotel staff, and it was an unforgettable experience — every step revealed new breathtaking views of the frozen lakes framed by towering snow-covered peaks. We also walked to the lighthouse, more fantastic views – perhaps in summer I could do the more challenging fisherman’s walk which I noticed on the way. The food was another highlight. Every meal was fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavour. Dining here felt like an experience in itself.
