"Was initially upset they didn’t give the room booked on Expedia. They rectified it shortly thereafter and the stay was smooth with friendly staff "

"The main reason i score this hotel 1 star is because the hotel manager ripped me off on a tour.. he charged me 130 euro on the basis i was the only booking… he subsequently sold a couple later that day and charged them 80 euro each… of course i asked what they paid, so i was annoyed and told him… eventually he refunded approx 25 euro… not a good experience at all… One other small but interesting point.. one breakfast i didn’t get to choose from the menu.. i was served beef curry..without a choice, from the last nights dinner menu Don’t stay here!!!"

"Great stay! Stayed 1 night. Very personalized service. The manager greets and checks in with each guest several times throughout the start as needed. Sri Lankan breakfast was great! Pool very nice. Was able to arrange a tuktuk transfer to several of the archaeological and religious sites within Anuradhapura for 5000 rupees (3-4 hours tour). Highly recommend!"

"Leopard Trails is a fabulous rustic luxury camp in the beautiful Wilpattu Park. This was one of our favorite stays in all of Sri Lanka! The Naturalist guide who took us on safari was attentive, knowledgable, and a genuinely great guy. Back at camp, the rooms were comfortable and the private dining candle lit dinners were magically romantic. I recommend the suite with the plunge pool, it was bliss after a hot and dusty drive on safari. Do not miss the opportunity to visit this special place! "
