"We really enjoyed our stay. The comfort room was big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids (with bunk beds). The breakfast and food (in general) at the main restaurant is very good. Also, there is a kids room near the restaurant where kids can play. The Waterpark is just across the street from the hotel, so this is also very convenient. "

"I arrived without a Swiss outlet compatible adapter. I enquired if they might know as to where I could purchase one, and the clerk supplied me with one until I could buy one the next morning. I also asked about suggestions for meals, sight-seeing, and general information, and was kindly helped during my stay. Being located just across from the Bahnhof and so close to the Cathedral, makes this hotel a perfect choice when staying in Skt. Gallen. Wonderful breakfast buffet options!"

"Had a very nice stay at Hecht. Very helpful staff. Only downside is that the hotel is in front of a church that rings bells every 15 min even at night. Breakfasts are really good! Location is amazing!! 4 mins away from train station."

"Nice staff! They accomodated our late (after 8 pm) arrival (traffic) and arranged a reservation for an excellent dinner at their nearby sister hotel, Romantik Hotel Säntis (last food order 9:00 pm). Everything is very clean. Centrally located in the pedestrian zone. Public parking (Brauerei Platz small lot at intersection larger parking lot furthet down. Coins to pay for parking no credit card). Appenzell is a wonderful place!"
