"We stayed here mostly because of the free airport shuttle as we had one night in Athens before returning home. It was perfect for our needs. I don't think I would stay here for anything longer, but this hotel knows its audience. The shuttle was very convenient. The restaurant on site was decent and just what we needed after a day of travel. The beds were comfortable."

I tried to talk to everyone and wanted them to know how lucky we were to stay at this fabulous property. I have been in many resorts and hotels but I have to say that my experience at NLH MATI Seafront-Neighborhood Lifestyle Hotels was fantastic friendly and clean. I also would like to mention I have been on 44 cruises too. I hope some day I can return. I am from the West Coast of Canada and this was worth the long flight."

"Property itself is lovely and well kept. Pool grounds very nice. It was super windy that day so we didn’t stay long poolside. The front desk receptionist was not very helpful when we checked in. She didn’t provide any information and getting information was like pulling teeth. Bell boy was very helpful. At the bar pool side we suspect they are tampering with the alcohol. My husband had an Ouzo and immediately after started feeling very sick, tired, headachy. He is accustomed to ouzo, and at his weight of 275lbs, one drink has no effect. they are an all inclusive resort for some customers, so we suspect now they may be diluting with pure alcohol. We have no proof, but it’s a very strange coincidence. Room was nice. Bed comfy, linens nice. Breakfast was good next day. Never found the spa. The receptionist gave vague instructions which we tried to follow. We tried to get downstairs in a glass elevator near the lobby and we got trapped in that hot elevator for a while before we could get out. I don’t recommend it. The other small regular elevator was OK, but it doesn’t lead to the spa on the lower level."

"The overall stay was fine. The pool area was nice and clean. Staff was helpful, not overly friendly. There was black mold in the shower and the shower head holder would not stay up so showering was a hassle."

"The manager and staff were respectful, extremely polite, and helpful. The room did not match the listing, and that the listed number of beds did not exist in the hotel, however we decided to stay since we had traveled by car there. The manager recognized the inconvenience and was extremely friendly, helpful and supportive. The lifeguard at the pool was attentive, I only observed he was very strict asking the kids to shower off all sun screen before going into the pool, which was understandable, however maybe a little too strict and restrictive. I believe we could visit again, but maybe reserve a different type of room..."

"We had a fantastic stay at the Marathon Beach Resort! What truly set this experience apart was the incredible level of personal attention we received from the team. Highlights of our stay: • Going the Extra Mile: Even though the hotel wasn't officially serving dinner to other guests at the time, the owner went out of his way to ensure we felt valued by organizing a special meal just for us. • Delicious Vegetarian Options: As vegetarians, we were thrilled when Fatos at the restaurant welcomed us so warmly and prepared a beautiful, authentic Greek vegetarian feast for our whole family. • Family-Friendly Touch: They were so kind to our little one; Fatos even treated them to some jelly, which made our child's evening!"
