Beautiful location in Badajoz; staff were excellent, lady at reception couldn’t do enough for us and the lady at breakfast was very helpful indeed. Would use again or recommend to friends and family. "One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at. The room was pleasant, clean, and in great condition. The staff were helpful in spite of my poor Spanish and helped me with every issue. The staff even had some English which is not common in this part of Spain.The best thing was the welcome package, everything I or my partner could possibly need was provided, from the standard soaps and a hairdryer, to things like a razor, toothpaste and toothbrush, shoe horn, and feminine hygine products. I have never seen a bathroom equipped that well. I cannot reccomend highly enough The hotel is only 30 minutes from town and directly adjacent to the bus station. There are several supermarkets and cafes nearby as well. The only negative we encountered was that the air conditioning in our room failed part way through our stay, and they were unable to fix it after several attempts. This wasn't a major issue as we were able to open the windows."

"I wish we had more time to stay here. It’s not a hotel, it’s an experience. Nothing like staying in a building over 700 years old. The views of the countryside were incredible. The service impeccable. Dining was great. We will absolutely return if we come back to Spain. "
