"This is an excellent hotel for what it is, a basic hotel. The room is comfortable, shower is good and it had a balcony as well as a table where one can work, relax or eat. The hotel has a restaurant and serves a nice breakfast. Hotel staff is friendly."

"The hotel feels brand new, and so very clean. There is only 1-2 people working in the reception/bar/breakfast areas at any given time. The coffee machine didn’t work so was difficult to get a coffee as you had to get the attention of this one person who was quite busy and not just tending The breakfast area. "This hotel is in a great location in central Marly close to Fribourg. It's a simple bus ride into Fribourg, where there is lots to see and do. The room is not air-conditioned, but not many places in Switzerland are. The hotel downstairs is spotless and delicious, and the staff are all very friendly. I'd recommend this hotel for travelers who want to see Fribourg but get a taste of Swiss village life---great point from which to bike around the countryside as well!"
