"Dear gods! I thought I'd have a tiny, but cute room. Place was bigger than my house! Full kitchen. Raindrop shower. And the ceilings...just exposed beams and gorgeous. Proper ceiling fan, not an occilator on a table (which works fine, but still). It was a very short walk from the Aubusson station and the tapestry museum. "This is small castle of 14th to 18th century Serge is owner of this castle and develops this building He was very kind . We felt like royal family eventhoug stayed only one night. He prepared. Our. "The location of the hotel (at the end of the motorway) is perfect. It was incredibly clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. It has very limited facilities eg no gym or relaxation area. Breakfast was limited for our UK palette, eg the only egg option was boiled and you had to do it yourself, so it was not worth (in my view), the £13 pp additional charge. There were also no options for evening dining on site and as our stay included a Sunday and everywhere was closed it caused us...

"We stayed at this hotel June 2022 and decided to stay there again whilst travelling in this area in May 2023. Once again the location was perfect (just off the auto-route), the staff were as friendly and helpful as ever, the restaurant presenting local menu choices as well as regular fare, the swimming pool for relaxation (although we didn’t use it due to cooler weather) and plenty of free parking. Oh, and the brunch they now offer (i was informed that it is new), they have everything from quiche to breads, croissants, coddled eggs, tarts that are out of this world. Also, we got a bit of a show. They bring in goats to manicure the lawns, such as they are. The goats paraded by our table and were adorable. I mean, i know goats csn get unrully, but these little suckers were focused on getting to their meal. I love them! Basically, just stay here."
