"the room was not clean. the pillowcases were filthy. there was not a bug net as shown in property photos, i woke covered in bug bites from head to toe. i love dogs! but that doesn’t mean i want them barking from the porch of my cabin while i am trying to sleep. all that said, the staff members were kind and accommodating! "Friendly and laid back resort on the Belize river. My wife and stayed for 3 nights, and enjoyed lounging by the pool and taking an all day trip to Lamanai as well as a local river cruise. Amazing wildlife! We saw howler monkeys, iguanas, parrots and countless other birds in the resort itself. The restaurant at the resort is quite good. We also appreciated the location just 20 minutes from the airport (although it feels very secluded)"

"I booked this hotel at the last minute because it was close to the airport for my early morning flight. I honestly wasn’t expecting much but was extremely impressed upon arrival. The hotel is large with lots of amenities, most which I didn’t have time to explore. They have a great bar/restaurant with an open air, tropical theme right next to the pool. They were expanding the deck area next to the pool, which will be lovely when finished. The rooms were modern, clean and well stocked. The bed was comfortable. The spa area looked lovely but I didn’t get to use it. As I left the next morning, I passed the breakfast buffet. If I’d know it was so large with so many good food choices, I would have gotten up earlier to enjoy it. I’d definitely recommend d this hotel and will stay here again when I visit Belize. "

"This place is great! Joyce is on top of everything and helped us with laundry one day and even gave us free pork buns the morning we were leaving. The garden is so beautiful. I would definitely stay here again. AC worked great!"

"This was such a special part of our Belize holiday. The staff was amazing, the rooms were absolutely gorgeous, and you can see that everyone working there takes great pride in excellent hospitality. It was simply a beautiful, relaxing, and utterly tranquil place to be with loads to do both on the property and excursions available. Wish we’d stayed longer than three nights!"
