"It clean and relaxing "

"Pros: -Staff was kind -Housekeepers are doing a great job! They came by everyday and restocked (I always have an issue with this at the higher end hotels). -Beds were comfy (minus the bed cover) -New A/C unit Cons: -Room had a smell -Pool closed 2/3 days we were there -Breakfast hours were inconvenient for us so we didn't partake thus adding to our expenses of eating out (6am-8am) -No closet, has a weird built in divider (Note to hotel: This item needs to be restored/Painted or replaced because it makes the room look old along with the carpet. Also the outside of the building looks like hotel transelvania. It desperately needs a painting to something more vibrant. The yellow lights in the hallways make it look tired and old. Maybe also add smell to the main vents. The hotel has alot of potential. It just needs updates. Overall it should have been a little less expensive imo, but all Austin seems to be higher. Im sure the current owners are going to do a great job with transforming the hotel 🙂"

"The property could be a little better maintained. The water was barely warm when I took a shower. I didn't have any issues with my room. I did sleep well. Bedding and bathroom were both clean."

"Very run-down La Quinta. I regrettably booked it without much thought, thinking it would resemble some of the other La Quinta’s I’ve stayed in— this was the worse one. This is not to bash the hotel, because the lady working the desk was very kind and helpful but the hotel was awful. Check-in took far too long because I had to get three different rooms. The door was ajar to the first room and it was not cleaned and the bed wasn’t made, as if someone was still staying there. The second room’s AC was broken. The third was fine but the condition of the hotel made for an uncomfortable stay. I do not recommend unless this is your only option."

"The facilities needs remodeling. Placing appliances in the rooms was an after thought. The fridge and microwave in a cabinet with the TV. The microwave was only 8 i ches from the floor.I had to ask for a 2nd trash can in the room. Breakfast offering needs to be improved. A larger variety of fruits,plain yogurt, egg white omelets. The one positive was the parking and location at major hwy interchange. I would not choose this location for a week vacation."

"Staff was kind and helpful. But a goodvpaint job doesnt fix a bad hotel. Kitchen top barely worked. And roaches within the second day. Bad smells. But the crackhead drama at night was entertaining."

"Staff are good. Air conditioning is good. Room is too old, bathroom door is damaged, toilet seat is discolored some part is white some part you can see the wood inside, electric socket is broken, pillow is small, blanket is so thin and old. Breakfast is poor, only waffer and cereal. Breakfast area is small not enough seats."
