"This was a very nice hotel. Others have said it needed updates, but honestly, it’s probably people who expect other countries out of this one. This is a great hotel if you want to be with the locals instead of the Tourist areas. Bring chargers with USB because USB ports and outlets are more prevalent. The place is beautiful outside and we didn’t spend too much time inside. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was served almost daily, and the staff are very accommodating towards requests. It’s walking distance to the beach and has several hammocks, hangout spots and bathrooms around the property. The front desk will call a taxi for you if requested, which is also nice. It was an amazing stay overall."

Due to weather delays at my destination, I stayed an additional 3 nights in San Salvador, 2 nonsuccessive nights at Mi Tierra. Both rooms were clean and appointed with the necessities. The first room in a detached building was quite small and dated, but clean. The second room was in the main building, roomier and more modern. "

"Staff was so great that I will overlook that the room was kind of damped if the AC was not ON. It was in the middle of nowhere, unless you know where to look. But the tours guys will show up and believe me, go for it, you won’t be disappointed. We got Jose, a native, and we really enjoy the tour. Go for the lunch on the “Condillo” island, a blast! One thing, the water in the room is salty, but you can bathe with it (some people don’t like it) and they provide bottle water (4), for drinking and mouthwash. "

"We stayed at Hotel Paseo del Sol with my family and had a really good experience overall. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly and welcoming, which made us feel comfortable right away. The hotel is clean, well maintained, and has a calm, family-friendly atmosphere. The location was great, right at La Costa del Sol, which made everything very convenient. Because of that, we ended up eating at the hotel most of the time, and honestly, the food exceeded our expectations. The quality was very good, the meals were well prepared, and it was nice not having to leave the hotel to enjoy good food. Our room was comfortable, spacious, and quiet, making it easy to relax and rest. The common areas were also clean and enjoyable. Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant stay, and we felt well taken care of. I would definitely recommend Hotel Paseo del Sol, especially for families, and I would stay here again without hesitation."
