"Brilliant hotel with lots of seating areas either inside or in the gardens. Food was very varied and tasty. Our room was clean but the bedroom itself could do with a revamp."

"Good location for exploring the town. The staff are super helpful and polite. The bed was very comfortable and our room was spacious. The bathroom shower was good with plenty of hot water. My only criticism was that with a very large hand basin in there it left very little room for manoeuvring. The breakfast was good and had plenty of variety."

"Nice clean room but missed being able to make tea/coffee. Good location for beach but need to walk to find different restaurants. "

"Very poor choice of menu for half board . Irish bar food of very basic standard. Inedible. Blue Terrace excellent - but a very restrictive menu for a 5 day stay. Rooms refurbished without an eye for detail . Some dated and unreliable plumbing. Water completely off one evening without warning. Drain smells . Poor bathroom lighting. Noise from room above etc Impressive public areas but lots of maintenance issues . Not a 5 or even a 4 star hotel ."
