"We truly enjoyed our stay at Ysuri hotel. The location is excellent, the room very comfortable and nicely decorated, the ocean views beautiful, the front desk staff ver helpful. The pool is very nice and the bar by the pool brings food from the hotel restaurant across the street, Baklava, which is very good. A few misses: no full length mirror in room, the only mirror was in the bathroom. The lighting over bathroom vanity was not very good and there was no close up mirror. Over the bed there were two lamp like wooden shades that that no lighting, that was a bit odd. There was a jacuzzi in one corner of the balcony but it's not covered so it got dirty and full of leaves which made it unusable. There's not one single drawer in the room. Beware there are lots of stairs and no elevator, if thats an issue make sure to stay in the lower floors. "

"Everything about my stay at La Puesta was wonderful. I was traveling solo for the week and La puesta was the perfect place for a solo female traveler. The pool is gorgeous. My room (Sunset Suite) was large, clean, the giant bathtub was a huge plus and the views from the balcony were stunning. Food at the restaurant use incredible, but the best part of the stay was definitely the service and staff at the pool/restaurant/bar. Khalil and Andres are incredibly kind, attentive and welcoming, as was everyone else I encountered. The people at La Puesta truly made a huge difference in my trip, on top of the hotel being great on its own. The hotel is on the north end of the beach, which is a little quieter but still just a 10 minute walk to the busier parts of town. The walk is incredibly safe. I walked back alone a few times after midnight and felt perfectly safe. The street is well-lit and everyone in town is very kind and looks out for everyone. Check in and check out were simple and quick. No issues with extra charges or hidden fees. Definitely recommend! "
