Staff were incredible so this review is not on them. There has not been enough investment in amenities and systems in this resort. While we were there we had no working tv the entire time, our bathtub did not work, and we were not able to make reservations for restaurants until we arrived. This meant ...

HM Alma de Bayahibe - Adults Only - All Inclusive
The staff were amazing. No room service, but you can take food from the buffet back to your room. There were a couple of times where we had no water. As long as you plan ahead and dont get in a rush for the shower, it was no problem.

Secrets La Romana Resort & Spa - Adults Only - All Inclusive
The Preferred Adult Only was 100% worth the extra money for couples. The hotel is beautiful, the staff at most restaurants very friendly and the food was good. Loved the small “food stands” along the beach for an unformal lunch. The room was clean, spacious and delicate.
