"Pro: Near the Cascate del Mulino terme, Beautiful and relaxing surrounding, Private sunbathing and terme area, Delicious breakfast Con: Insecure data (personal sensitive data of me and other guests were stolen by the hackers who infiltrated into their network. I had to alert them because they were not even aware of the cyber theft and crimes was being committed by the hackers. I almost lost a lot of my money when the hackers tried to trick me posing as the property management.) // Extremely unstable or sometimes non-existent WIFI especially inside the room. One of the staff shouted at me and rudely blamed that I have a faulty phone when my phone is the latest iPhone model despite producing evidences. I’ve never experienced such difficulty in surfing the net. She said they use Starlink, so it shouldn’t be their problem. I had to sit outside to use their WIFI because she said they don’t have WIFI signal extender. The courtyard, the check-in area and the dining room have no WIFI issue. I’ve stayed at this property every single year for the past 7 years. Yet, I have faced the same issue every single stay. Very disappointing with the attitude of one staff and the WIFI situation."

"Sorano was our final leg of journey to Tuscany in May 2026. It was our first experience staying in a hotel converted from medieval fortress! We cannot thank enough the hotel staff, Silvia, for providing us extremely detailed instructions and advice before and during the stay, and Bianca, for providing us a room upgrade (with magnificent view on the town below and the valley). The place itself, Sorano, is deeply rich with Etruscan history (caves, ancient roads, etc.) and is just 10 km from another medieval gem, Pitigliano. If you arrive by car, the free parking lot is conveniently located just outside the castle gates with 2 minutes' walk to the hotel itself. Highly recommend!!!"

"The property is gorgeous. There is no prettier setting. The food and wine were excellent. We found the service marginal at best. It was not customer centric, and there was much more that couldn’t be done than we have experienced anywhere else. I understand that a “yes” is not always possible, but a mindset that is “can-do” to find solutions is what is helpful. Also, we were flabbergasted that after extremely expensive spa treatments, they charged an additional 100 euros for use of the other spa amenities, like hot tubs etc. we thought that outrageous."

"Beautiful spot in the top of the hill with a fantastic view. You can walk to have an almost 360 degree view of the Tuscany Valley and smell the great collection of roses. Awesome place organized with very nice selection of furniture and modern amenities. The place and the service are really lovely. "
