"Wonderful hotel in historic building that has been fully modernized. While the rooms are large and roomy even by U.S. Standards, they are too modern and don't fully reflect the history of the building. Overall, very good location and excellent stay. I think they just went a bit too far in modernizing it and left out some of the medieval and renaissance charm it once hand."
"I stayed here when my husband broke his neck in a motorbike accident and was admitted to the adjacent hospital. I initially booked two nights but extended to four as soon as I arrived and realised how bad the injury was and how long I might be needed by his side.
My Spanish is very limited but the staff were really helpful and accommodating to my situation. Despite being fully booked over the busy bank holiday weekend, they took my number and called me as soon as they had a cancellation and did everything they could to keep me in the same room and minimise any inconvenience.
The rooms are extremely spacious the beds are comfortable. There is a shower, bath, even a bidet in the bathroom, and the curtains are the proper blackout variety. Extremely reasonably priced as well.
Breakfast was €10 and was a buffet each day including a little gluten free area. (The adjoining public cafeteria also does gluten free baguettes if you ask them for a bocadillo sin gluten). There is also room service which was very reasonable I thought.
I don’t think you would stay here if you wanted to be in the city but for the hospital it could not have been more convenient."
"The room was clean, room access with elevator. Parking is/ was nearby - Everything worked.
No wifi.
Language was a barrier when checking in. Not sure if woman was a host or resident assisting owner. There was no help in answering my questions during my stay.
Outside of property was unkept, trash littered at entrance. Entry door to property was next to a restaurant/ bar that was closed.
Reception was up a flight of stairs.
However the price was good for me."
