"Arrived late and needed a few hours sleep before setting off to Calais. The hotel is secure with an electric code protected gate to secure cars. The man in reception was polite and efficient even at 2am when we arrived but that’s when the good points ended. The room is tired and needs refreshing with heavily marked walls etc but the bedding was clean. Unfortunately, other guests were shouting and banging until 4.30 am then the fire alarm was triggered.
