"The location of the hotel is very good for exploring the Tain L'Hermitage region just across the bridge on the other side of the Rhone. From here you can walk around the hill of Hermitage and visit the wineries.
The hotel is in a grand building, stylistically refurbished and has a fantastic view from the outdoor swimming pool. The staff are young, enthusiastic and professional and the host was excellent in making suggestions for local restaurants and wine shops.
I would recommend this hotel."
"Very welcoming hotel. Lovely room overlooking the village. Courtyard restaurant under the trees was ideal for the hot weather. Staff were all very friendly and helpful."
"The hotel is ok, but not very good either. No lift there unfortunately, no space to walk the dog. It's about 10 minutes off the motorway. Large supermarket is within the walking distance and some restaurants too . Room for 4 was a bit too small. Shower and air con was very good."
"A very lovely hotel with designer led rooms and a lovely outdoor pool and garden areas
Our room was very recently renovated and was excellent with a great bed and a good sleep was had.
Easy secure parking at rear of hotel
You get asked if you would like to have dinner on arrival but please check the menu suits you first before committing.
It is a well respected Michelin dining experience and there was nothing we fancied on the menu
There is no bar or room menu available
We declined as we had just had fine dining at the Roches Blanches the night before
There is a nice pizza place which does a Half a pizza and salad just a few steps away
Breakfast was €20 per person and not worth it in my estimation and hope they improve their offering
I would however stay again as room and bed and pool good
Maybe I would try the Al la carte restaurant then as well"
"L hotel est vieillissant , mais le personnel et très serviable. Les chambres et le couchage sont correct, biensure il y a toujours mieux mais a ce tarif c est très bien. Les plus : proche autoroute
Centre commerciale une très bonne boulangerie toute proche. Nous avons visité Valence ville sympathique."
"Stayed there couple of times in 2022 and was really impressed - small, family run hotel with great restaurant and friendly, efficient staff. Fast forward to 2025 and nothing has changed. Super location, fantastic food, and really quiet at night. "
