Really nice little cute Bed and Breakfast. Comfy and cosy. Not a lot (0) food options close-by so be aware. Great breakfast and friendly owner; we will come back.

Little gem of a hotel.

This hotel was a little gem of a find. The hosts were very welcoming and the room had a great mix of old an modern features. Only 5 minite drive to shops. The room was well presented and very comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding with lots of home made items to choose from. Would definitely go back if in the area.

A gem of a place near Dijon

We stayed 2 nights en route from Italy to the UK. We wanted to visit Dijon and it was very easy to take the train from nearby Genlis. Dijon is a fantastic city and work the visit. Laurent, our host, gave us helpful information about visiting. Our room was cosy and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great with their special homemade produce and fresh bread and croissants. We can recommend this place as easy to find and park, an excellent stopping place. Great hosts.

A renovated old farmhouse, Aux Mesanges was a cool place to stay. We felt the age while climbing the creaky stairs and seeing the wood beams, yet we also enjoyed the modern renovations. Laurent was super nice, chatting with us about the home and even allowing us to practice our not-so-great French. The home is a bit out of the way and there isn't much in the immediate area, but it was an easy drive to Dijon, where we parked and ate at places that Laurent recommended. He prepared quite the breakfast in the morning, which we also enjoyed. If you're looking for a more personal and unique experience than the typical hotel, this is a great choice!

Good value

An old building lovingly restored by the very hospitable proprietors as their own home. The accommodation - chambre d’hôte, rather than hotel - was basic, but that was reflected in the very modest price, which included a good breakfast of homemade and locally sourced produce. It’s worth mentioning that it might not be ideal for elderly people or those with mobility problems (I am both!) as the rooms are accessed by a rather difficult staircase.

Passage "Aux Mésanges" très agréable
