"Excellent hotel and service. Staff were warm and welcoming. Great stay from check-in to check-out. Room was one of the largest I’ve stayed in Europe as they tend to be quite small. Breakfast was ok, not many hot options but it is a buffet after all however good selection of pastries and fruits. Location is close to the Colosseum however quite a distance to Trevi fountain or central Rome and taxi is around 25 euros each way. "

"I had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Hotel President! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to iconic landmarks like the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps, and the Trevi Fountain. Being so close to the metro made getting around the city incredibly easy and convenient. The staff were exceptional—friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the area, always ready with great recommendations. I tried the hotel breakfast once, which was good, but I loved starting my mornings at a nearby café with a delicious outdoor cappuccino experience. Another highlight was a fantastic gelato stand just around the corner—absolutely worth a visit! Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Rome. It truly made my trip even more enjoyable!"

"Would definitely return here. Before we went on our trip we saw reviews about loud construction noise, no pool etc. We had no issues at all. The pool is open but is undergoing chemical treatment. The rooftop is very welcoming and a great place to relax. Our room was extremely clean with maid service every day should we have wanted it. We were surprised to learn there was a gym and laundry washing facilities in the basement of the hotel. My husband used the gym and there were brand new technogym machines in there. Only grumble would be the bed being a bit squeaky, may be because no head board. Just irritating when turning over in bed during the night. If this is the only issue, it’s a good stay! The hotel room had a hair dryer and quality body wash, shampoo and conditioner. There was also a fridge and a safe. We had a drink in the bar a few nights and it’s reasonably priced and the bar staff were fantastic. We didn’t pay for breakfast as we did think that was overpriced at €17 per person each day. We found lovely corenettaria 9 min walk away and had plenty for less than €10 togeher. Close to local transport just takes a minute to get your head around. Fantastic stay, thank you! "
