"We loved our stay here. Great communication on arrival instructions before we got there as weren’t familiar with the area and weren’t driving. We got the funicular from bourg saint Maurice and then the free shuttle to the chamotteger stop. It all works very well together timing wise. Then it’s a short walk uphill (bit of a challenges with our suitcases but it was only short). It’s also a short walk down to the main area with a great choice of restaurants some shops and we were in the summer season but a whole host of activities for the kids. The whole hotel had a very cosy vibe with incredible views, definitely worth paying for a room with a view, loved the pool. Everything was clean and well kept,service was very friendly whoever we spoke to. Replen at breakfast was a little slow. there was a good choice and all was tasty just at times we were waiting a while for plates or still water. Room was clean and spacious only criticism was it was a little hot at times, air con would have been useful and it was 2 beds pushed together rather than a double which I don’t find the comfiest and pillow choice wasn’t great they were very soft and no alternatives. We didn’t like the rule where you could only eat there if you were half board the first day we had a LONG day of travel but had to go out and find dinner where as we would have liked to stay at the hotel but didn’t want to eat every night to make it half board. This felt a little money making. Overall we loved our stay. "

"Great locations for ski in ski out skiing. And highly recommend Skimuim opposite for ski hire. Excellent service. The apartment was great value for money but lacked two easy to remedy things. A heated towel rail for the lack of towels. One each is not enough when’s swimming pool so constantly damp. Also a tea cloth or oven glove is missing from the inventory. Getting things out the oven with a ski sock isn’t great. I found the double bed far too hard, but that is personal preference. Staff lovely. We stayed last week of ski season and were incredibly lucky with the snow. But majority of cafes and restaurants had shut. Supermarket also very low on stock. So be prepared for a visit to Bourg as 1800 and 1600 even less open. "

"We booked a 2 bedrooms apartment for the 3 of us. The apartment was spacious and nice view on the mountain. We had 2 bathroom which was great but unfortunately 1 of the heater was not functioning for half our stay so it was really cold to take a bath and we had to complain several times before they replaced the towels heater. They obviously knew the issue as they already ordered a new one. They never offered any compensation or to move us in another apartment. The ski room was super smelly and congested especially in the morning. That it was at the point I was feeling nauseous. Another downside was the spa area, way too small for the amount of guests. Only one small Hot tub always full. The sauna was super crowded that it made it impossible to use and same with the steam room that wasn't even hot enough and the eucalyptus was so strong it would make your eyes watering. So we only went once as it was not enjoyable. At Les Arcs 1800 there is almost nothing beside the residence and the hotel. Just 1 small Spar. For shopping, bars, restaurants you have to take the Dahu Lift that connect to Les Arcs 1600. We also drove to Les Arcs 1950 (about 20 min drive but totally worth it. Les Arcs 1950 is such a nice resort. Overall experience was okay but we won’t probably go back to this place."

"Great stay. Room well equipped with everything we needed. Ski in ski out worked well. We couldn’t get the wifi code to work all week so gave up. We did ask at reception for them to look at it which they did but it still didn’t work. Pool and hot tub great feature though could have been warmer! And perhaps slightly larger as a bit crowded especially at the end of the day. Building could have done with a lick of paint in places but general standard was still very high and was very impressed. Bins, linen and towels changed on multiple occasions. On arrival, the bed and carpet could have been a bit cleaner which let it down slightly. Floors a bit thin but despite being right next to the main door it wasn’t too loud and slept well. Shop nearby good pricing given location. Underground parking very convenient though tight if you have a big car. "
