"This hotel is worth 2.5 stars at most. Our generous evaluation is 4/10. 1- Reception desk did not have my reservation already paid with Hotels.com. They had to take picture (with their phone) of files in my phone. They had rooms available so they asked that I pay upfront. I insisted that they check with whomever responsible. "El entorno y el hotel es precioso, para mí el mejor de pu luong. La comunicacion con el personal es difícil sol o había una persona que sabía inglés pero no estaba en el alojamiento a nuestra llegada. Hubo un mal entendido con el checkin y con la cena pero pusieron de su parte para solucionarlo. Nos dejaron quedarnos dos horas más de checkout. Recomiendo este alojamiento aunque debería mejorar la atención directa con el cliente. "

"We enjoyed a three night stay at Mai Chau lodge. As the lodge was quiet being mid-week, we were given an upgrade which was a nice surprise. Our room was spacious with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and lake. The local food offered in the restaurant was lovely. As options in the town were a bit limited we ate there every night. Location was excellent for visits to the outlying villages- all in an easy walk or cycle. Best of all were Ninh and her staff. Always friendly and eager to help and offer advice. "
