"I like this motel, very clean. Its old, but cleaner then any big hotel you would stay at for half the price. Does not offer late checkout unless pay additional day. I would like to see a noon checkout offer at no additional cost. No in room coffee. Also, oneday on a couple rooms, ex: king size bed, chg out the jalousie windows with hurricane windows to cut out road noise and update furniture and bathroom tile, in room coffee. Chg extra $20 per night, this would be great option for business travelers. As a biz traveler it would make the stay much better, and most likely give u more biz. Quiet, good sleep and internet is extremely important to biz travelers."

"We spent the weekend at SRR. Im in love with this place! Now its no 5 star resort. This a rustic place the cabin are older. Its liking taking a step back in time. Which part why I loved it so much. We were in the a frame. The stairs were rough because im handicap but I prepared and knew they would be rough for me. Preparation was worth it because the view and the porch were pure heaven. The cabin was a little dated, some weak spots and unlevel floors, but was able to move around. The kids loved the loft. We made sure they were safe on the stair/ladder going up. Convict springs was literally right out the front door across a small field. The spring was beautiful. The kids swam so much the were sore the next day. The family is a little small but we had fun. The staff were so nice! The highlight of everything was meeting Pinky one their beautiful pigeons!!!! The birding here is top notch especially one the river. We saw 3 red shoulder hawks and heard numerous great horned owls. Also the gulf sturgeon jumping is so cool! We will be back! I want to canoe and fish next time!!!"
