"Don't take room number 10,it had a stained,musty ,smelly carpet.Room didn't have a nice fresh smell.
I didn't complain because we got in the hotel late, but next day I saw other rooms with wooden, fresh floor and nice smell.
The staff very nice and helpful.
Lady in the restaurant makes waffles and breakfast on request but only till 8-8.30.
If you come after 9 (breakfast till 10) there won't be much food left."
SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Point Richmond
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent customer service by Estefany at front desk and Leticia at the breakfast buffet. I thank you both for making my stay so comfortable. I will be back and I do recommend this hotel. The rooms are clean, big counters, nice hot showers."
"Management staff rude always trying to add to the pricing. Doesn’t understand or care about published pricing. Always arguing. Doesn’t know rules or laws about service dogs. My room needed a lot or repairs. Sheets had holes. Throw away
Smoke detectors inoperable had exposed wires"
"The location of this motel is fantastic. Very close to the beautiful promenade and to the restaurant and boutiques quarters. There’s a grocery store right across the street. The pool is nice although not very big and with little shade. But in the end it is a motel and not a hotel and is is due for some TLC. The nightly fee was high."
Embassy Suites by Hilton San Rafael at Marin Center
10/10 Excellent
"The room was clean, the breakfast options were delish. Our family always enjoy the leisurely breakfasts there. Always love the omelette station. There’s an evening reception with free drinks and light snacks. It would be good to have that area manned by a staff member because it unfortunately gets dirty pretty quickly with spilt food etc. Son loved the gym; husband loved the breakfasts, daughter liked that the people who worked there were ‘nice and welcoming’. We stayed at 4 different places (hotels and air bnb) in our 7 days trip to the CA coast and the consensus by the teens was that we should always look for an Embassy Suites."
