"I had a very pleasant stay of six nights here. The room newly renovated and had all the necessities of a longer stay including a fully equipped kitchenette. The highlight for me was the rain shower with good volume and hot water. The bed mattress was a bit thin and low.The receptionist was very helpful and pleasant. The house has a back garden and safe off-street parking, and it was a quiet place to sleep. One small suggestion would be to update the bath towels. Fresh, good-sized towels make a big difference for comfort and give guests that extra feeling of care and quality during their stay. Overall, a warm welcome and very good value for the money in that area. "

Furthermore, the host contacted me on the day of my stay to say that the apartment was closed because he had made a mistake with the reservation date. This is a very malicious host. "The rooms are excellent- spacious and well appointed, modern and clean, and finally with an iron and ironing board! The breakfast buffet met expectations…., but I don’t think I met any staff member who was able to do their job without difficulty. There was a technical issue that made check-in lengthy, and the taps weren’t working at the bar. At evening meal time, there was only one person serving there. She did her best, but every tiny action took forever and it wasn’t easy to get attention, so there was a line up of people waiting a long time, simply to order the most basic thing. All three mornings at breakfast, there weren’t any forks and you had to ask - plenty of knives and spoons, and there wasn’t a large enough buffet for the number of people, so again, it took a long time and emptied food options were slow to replenish if at all. In the end, I was very comfortable in my room for comparative Brussels prices, but the rest of the operation was very sub-standard."
