"Stayed three nights in June in one of the suites with a balcony. Beautiful property in the high farmlands in the Julian Alps. Recently converted (in May? of 2025) a farm and farmhouse into an awesome hotel with 13 rooms in two different buildings. The hotel owners definitely didn’t cut corners - buildings, grounds, kitchen, decorations, furniture, etc. Room amenities were exquisite. Staff was super friendly and patient. Great breakfast each morning - combination of buffet and eggs/etc a la carte. We had dinner one night. The dinners during our stay were a limited prix fixe menu of three choices - fish (trout), venison (deer) and beef medallions. I had the beef and it was delicious. My wife asked if she could order off menu for a vegetarian dish, which they happily accommodated. It was also delicious. Good wine selection. Our suite room included a sauna in the bathroom, which was a wonderful treat. Overall great stay - and I’m a hard grader. We’ll definitely be back."

"We had an idyllic stay here. The property itself is classic and elegant. 100% old world charm! We had lake-view suites which were simply marvelous. They were large, graciously-furnished and very comfortable. The lake views were breathtaking. My father sat on his balcony watching the lake and listening to classical music every morning in bliss. The facilities are terrific. Breakfast offerings were plentiful, tasty, and diverse. I'm gluten-free and had no problem finding tons to eat even before they brought me GF bread!. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel but it looked very good. My sister enjoyed swimming and enjoying the sun from below an umbrella at the hotel's private beach. I loved the spa, alternating between the saunas and the thermal pool. The water was cool but comfortable once you adjusted. And all the minerals -- I felt 10 years younger. We rowed out to the island and visited the castle, of course. Lovely! But the hotel's own amenities should also be a draw. Finally, the hotel staff are the best! Marion especially feels like a forever friend. But everyone was so friendly and answered our questions with great patience and excellent ideas. When we had an unexpected change, they were understanding and accommodating. From directing us to local GF bakeries to advising where to buy Slovenian wine to the easy valet parking and the thoughtfulness of waiter who served our welcome drink, the staff made an already superb experience even better. I can't wait to return! "

"Really friendly reception upon arrival, gave us loads of recommendations of which we experienced quite a few & was grateful for the map we were given. Nice comfortable room, great shower and drink facilities as well as a fridge. Excellent location only a 5 min walk to the lake & a hand full of restaurants, walk a little further say 10 more minutes into Bled itself, although we found the restaurants and bars nearby to be sufficient and served great food. "

"Nice hotel, you can’t get any closer to lake bled than this hotel so the location is great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice enough although it would be nice if there was a bin in the room, we only had a small one in the bathroom and also if you could access streaming services on the TV. We only ate breakfast at the hotel but it was good and had a decent selection. The pool on the roof has an amazing view over lake bled and it’s nice to use although we didn’t realise the saunas would be an extra cost until we arrived."
