I reserved this hotel at a much lower rate than its competitors, so I came in with reasonable expectations. The check in was easy and the host was friendly. The room was pretty clean, although dated (but that was very much expected). I do want to make a point that other people review other hotels and mention bugs, pests, etc, but this hotel was completely free of anything like that, so kudos to Palms Garden. Everything worked and I felt safe in the hotel. It was very easy to get to from I-75 and met all of my expectations. Definitely was better than I had expected.

Good price for clean room

The room was very clean upon entry. The beds are comfortable and the shower is good and hot. The price was very good for the room as well. We had a very pleasant stay.

Honestly, my family and I had a few problems but it seemed any problem we had was fixed quick and efficiently. Staff was great, beds were super comfortable, the shampoo and body wash smell amazing, a few really nice amenities left in the room for you like a shower cap or some coffee.

Enjoyed our stay!

Check in was prompt. Rooms were clean and beds were so comfy! Older rooms. Some of the wallpaper was coming off but it wasnt a big deal. We would stay there again! Dunkin is next to it too! Located right off the 75 exit. Lots of towels and soaps. Only noise is from the truck stop but it was tolerable

Clean room and reasonable price

Building exterior and location made me hesitate, but the room inside was clean. The motel is a bit old and looks warn, but they are keeping it clean and it seemed like it was safe once I got inside. Surrounded by truck stops, but it wasn't too noisy. Wasn't really all that close to the center of Lake City.

Palms Garden was not as advertised! The room was dingy, linens yellowed, grasshopper on one bed, dirty sock in the bathroom. Room had to be accessed through a dark exterior hall, from the parking lot. Pool was drained, not in use. The check in was good, manager helpful and accommodating. We got a refund, did not stay.
