"My stay.at Longreach was OK. The room was clean although looking tired, curtains stained & need to be renewed. The hosts were great people, very ameniable. I think considering where the town is one can’t expect what’s available in larger places which draw considerably more tourists."

"Rawnsley Park station superior cabins were excellent; clean; well equipped and thought out. The views were stunning and the overall facilities on the station were great. Clean communal Barbecues; fire pits with wood to purchase for use and a restaurant that also offered a takeaway menu on the nights you don’t want to cook. The location is magical and staff very friendly. The swimming pool was a hit with the children and verandahs with a view the perfect spot to watch the world go by. "This was a very inexpensive (comparatively) hotel/motel, with a caravan park attached, which added features such as a laundry etc. You get what you pay for. This is not a 5 or4 star luxury place, and neither is the cost. I was very happy with everything about this place, but especially the helpfulness of the staff. Their next door bistro was also very moderately priced, with good quality food. "
