Only issue we had was being locked in at night - glass front doors tied together with a bike chain lock! Although security were outside, I feel this was a concern if there was a fire and felt uncomfortable with this. Otherwise would recommend"

"The staff was very friendly and the hotel new and clean. The sound proofing is horrendous throughout the entire hotel. Between rooms and to outside. The lobby played music very loud until 10pm and then turned it down only a little bit until 11pm when it stopped. Very sleep disturbing. "

"A very nice property although a bit run down, need of update including furnitures, we arrived late in the evening and found it very cold room we had to turn electric fire on and left it on right through the night, the food is average, no local shops near by, so you will need tuk tuk, staff are great, friendly and very helpful. "We stayed at the Villa Tea Fields for one night during our visit to Nuwara Eliya. The room was clean/combortable, bathroom was newly renovated/modern. Staff were very attentive and courteous. Breakfast was excellent. The balcony was a great place to relax, read a book, take in the view of the garden - very pleasant experience. We highly recommend the Villa Tea Fields if you're visiting Nuwara Eliya. "
