"The host was wonderful and very responsive. She even offers extended check out which was great. The listing could be a bit more detailed on the apartment. It appears to be a place to rent rooms but the whole apartment was offered. There is a camera IN the apartment which was very uncomfortable as I felt like I could not get comfortable for the time I was there and being watched I could not enjoy the living room. Other than that I have no complaints."

"You only learned after booking that the owner would be in the basement at all times and moving cars around constantly. That was not explained in the listing. He also mowed the lawn while we were there, which was not pleasant while trying to nap. The keypad to enter the home doesn’t work properly and you have to type the code multiple times to finally enter. The beds are not comfortable at all. With the price of this location, the beds should be worth the price. The window fans do not keep the...

I went to The Marriott and had a comfortable stay. The room is in need of repair. Blinds are see through, etc. Forget about this."

"This place is perfect for the intrepid, seasoned traveler who is flexible and has a tolerance for change or very small curveballs. This is to say, it was bare bones, safe, clean, roomy, and very manageable. It was as advertised. Common kitchen and bathrooms. BRING A TOWEL!! I was in town, traveling solo, to see some concerts, so it was just what I was looking for. It is in the heart of Little India and the food choices were over-the-top wonderful with many vendors open until 3am."

"We were told the day of our arrival that we were being moved to another property 40 blocks farther from the city. What choice did we have at this point? The alternate accommodations did not have a comfortable seating area for the 4 of us (one of the reasons for our original property choice) and was not as convenient for our preferred transportation options, and it was very different from the photos of the original reservation property. The whole experience felt like a bait & switch. We asked for...

Spark by Hilton Clifton

Spark by Hilton Clifton

8/10 Good
"There was not a buffet breakfast during our stay. And the hallways had a weird stench to them that wasn’t quite clean but not dirty. Almost like a nursing home. Thankfully there was an ihop next door but they did nothing for my daughter’s food allergies so it was difficult to find her anything to eat."

Frequently asked questions

Can I find a holiday rental in Lake Hiawatha?

Yes, there are holiday rentals close to the most popular sights in Lake Hiawatha, or you can select a more secluded option if you're looking for a relaxing stay.

What’s there to see and do in Lake Hiawatha?

While exploring the area, visit family-friendly sights like American Dream, or get outside and enjoy nature at Rockaway River. MetLife Stadium and The Mansion at Mountain Lakes are a couple of places you'll find in the wider area.

What’s a holiday rental in Lake Hiawatha like?

Holiday rentals are private properties where you can stay for a few weeks, or just a few days, in Lake Hiawatha. Holiday rentals offer extras such as kitchens and laundry facilities so you'll have a home away from home. If you're concerned about cleanliness, holiday rentals can provide a sense of privacy away from public hotel lifts and lobbies packed with people while still allowing you the experience of travel. You'll also find more space in a holiday rental than in a hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is a popular choice for a family getaway.
