"Either the person that "cleaned" the room had hair falling out all over OR the room wasn't cleaned at all and the hair belonged to the previous guest (think in the shower, on the towels, on the toilet tank, on 3 of the 6 pillows). GROSS. After driving for 13 hours, we checked in late and were too exhausted to go back to stand in line at the front desk just to move everything around again. What a poor experience. The showers offered the refillable dispensers containing shampoo and conditioner (both were basically empty as the maid did not refill - useless and disappointing). They still offered little tiny bars of soap instead of just going the extra mile to install a 3rd refillable dispenser with body wash yet they had one by the sink for lotion. Seems like they missed the mark here for guest perks. The freezer portion of the fridge did not work, the fridge itself was essentially room temperature upon arrival so guessing the whole unit was broke. Hands down would never recommend or stay here again. There are cheaper options in the area that offer a much better/clean experience all the way around. They also claim to be dog-friendly yet have ZERO grass for dogs to use other than 2 tiny medians in the parking lot between cars which is covered in cigarettes and trash (including glass). At least take some pride in your property and pickup the trash that's clearly been there for weeks all over your hotels = aka motel."
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Wichita Falls - MSU Area
2/10 Terrible
"Our company books this hotel when we are in town every few weeks, I made a mistake & booked this hotel when I should have booked Wichita in Kansas. I contacted hotels.com within 10 mins & the agent spoke to the manager & they refused to cancel, even though I made the correct resv @ a LaQunita in Kansas. It was a honest mistake, instead of just canceling the charge & renting the room to someone else, they received their 140.00. We will never stay here again. Paid for the insurance & was still denied the claim. "
