Our stay at this beautiful mountain retreat was everything we hoped for and more. The Perch cabin was spotless, cozy, and incredibly well-equipped – from a fully stocked kitchen to plush bedding and thoughtful touches throughout. The location strikes the perfect balance: tucked away enough to feel secluded and peaceful, yet still close to hiking trails, scenic overlooks, and charming local spots. We loved unwinding by the pool after a day of exploring. Our host was exceptional – responsive, welcoming, and full of great local recommendations. It’s clear they’ve put a lot of love into making this a truly special place. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway to reconnect with nature without sacrificing comfort, look no further. We’re already dreaming about our next visit!

We loved staying at this property! The roost is handicap assessed if needed. Quaint cabin with a private woodsy view along with a spacious deck! The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is big plus sit down seat in the shower! They provide all towels even pool towels! Not to mention the pool is was across from us! Very relaxing and quiet. The kitchen is set up for cooking, love the medium sized fridge. Lived how they have linen spray and antibacterial spray in glass bottles! I use that gone and love the whole vibe and smell! Overall great place to stay! We will be back.

Everything was amazing! Nice staff, clean room, lovely view! Only thing was the drive way was a bit sketchy at first but we own and older truck aswell. We made it work and it was worth it!

Everything was amazing! My fiancé and I came for Valentines and they had Chocolate Covered Strawberries and roses for us upon arrival. Very clean, fully stocked with all the essentials we needed, jacuzzi was perfect, the views from our wrap around porch facing the mountains were beautiful! Jody and Shaun were amazing hosts and it was so quiet and peaceful. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Diese Unterkunft kann ich nicht in Worte fassen, so wunderschön ist sie und unser Aufenthalt war ein Traum. Shaun und Jody haben so viel Liebe in diese Unterkunft gesteckt und es fühlt sich wie nach Hause kommen an. Shaun hat uns sehr nett in Empfang genommen, uns alles gezeigt. Wir haben die Abgeschiedenheit sehr genossen. Sauberkeit und Komfort ist hier ganz groß geschrieben. Frische Blumen, zwei süße Katzen und ein toller Hund begegnet einem auch und die sind nicht aufdringlich. Wir haben oben im Gemeinschaftsbereich nett gegrillt und bei der Feuerstelle, den Abend ausklingen lassen. Am Morgen begegneten uns hinter dem Haus zwei neugierige Rehe und wir frühstückten auf der Terrasse mit besten Blick auf die beiden. Wer den Lake Lure und Chimney Rock besucht und eine Unterkunft sucht, der muss zu Shaun und Jody.
