"We stayed three nights, it was a perfect location and the room was clean and worked well for us. The only thing I would point out was that the pool cues in the games room had no ends on them and the pool balls were not all there, my kids and I enjoy playing on a pool table so were disappointed that we were unable to play. Other than that I recommend Ika Nui and will stay there again."

"Rydges was a great hotel for exploring Rotorua. Kids eat free with an adult at the buffet, which greatly helped with costs. I loved the laundry machines being available to clean our dirty clothes so I could pack less. The hotel was quiet and the room was comfortable for 2 adults and a kid. I’ll happily return for another visit!"

"Great family option just a short drive from the town centre, easy access to Huka Falls and Craters of the moon. The main pool is hot, approx 36 degrees so ideal for early morning and late evening dips rather then only during busy day time periods with family's Buffet is average but only charged per adult head so if traveling with multiple kids, value for money."

"The view from the room was spectacular. Walked along the shore right from our room. Room was clean had many useful amenities. The “heated pool” was ice cold. The jacuzzi as barely warm enough to get in. The staff at the check in desk were fantastic. The staff in the dining room were very condescending."
