"Maybe the mistake was booking one of the cabins instead of a regular room. The first indicator that there would be cleanliness issues started before we even walked in the door of the room. A q-tip and a couple pieces of trash laid right out side the door. The room initially looked cute enough, dated, but cute. All the windows and sliding door were open upon entering which we quickly found out was absolutely necessary to air the strong scent of wet dog in the room that lingered our entire stay. The couch was very visibly not clean either. Neither of us dared to sit on it our entire stay. The shower & bathroom floor were filthy. Like they hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. I took a napkin and wiped the entrance to the shower and was horrified to see so much filth. I will say, the bed was perfectly clean & comfortable which was the only reason we stayed. For that, I am thankful. We were in and out and only used the room to sleep because of the cleanliness issues. Bummer because the place has so much potential & is surrounded by beautiful trees & even a little waterfall. I’m not super picky with hotel rooms, but this was really bad."
"It was charming, clean, thoughtful and well priced! I could not review without saying the breakfast was fresh, and good. The innkeeper was absolutely delightful!!"
"We love it all, we would love to see the carpet removed in the downstairs s rooms by the pool. When we arrive our room always smells like pet pee. I always have to make a run to Safeway for pet deodorizer spray.
A flooring upgrade would be grand!!!"
"Excellent place to stay and we had to reserve this at the very last minute after our reservation for that night was cancelled due to some plumbing issues at the vacation house. Would definitely stay here again.
We stayed in the deluxe studio. It was a two bedroom 2 bath newly remodelled and it was pretty hot when we got in there but within an hour after having the air-conditioners on it was cooled off.
Everything was pretty clean. The only downside was that the beds were queen size not king size. It’s definitely off the beaten path out in the country up in the hills."
"The stairs going into the cottage were falling apart with rusty nails exposed. The room still had hair in the bathroom shower, partially painted wall, smearing from people’s hand on the bedroom walls, the list goes on. The dumpster right outside the cottage was overflowing with garbage, all the outside trash cans were full of beer bottles & teach"
