Check-in was an issue. I arrived around 8.30pm, there was no one at the front desk, no one answers the night bell. No one responds to the online chat function on the website. When I made the booking, I made it with a Canadian phone number, but they do not seem to support international phone numbers, so I did not receive any information about how to check in. I had to walk to McDonalds and use the free wifi to message an Australian friend to call the hotel to let me in. In a tourist destination like Lakes Entrance, I would assume many foreigners do not have access to an Australian phone?
On the positive side, it was clean and close to the middle of town on the main street.
