Edgewater Inn and Suites, an Ascend Collection Hotel
8/10 Good
"This is a very good option for Coos Bay Oregon. The room was nice and clean , with a sizable patio overlooking a slough off the bay. There is no bay view you but the slough is tranquil and quiet. We sat out on our patio sipping coffee in the morning and watched a Heron beginning his day The area looks a little commercial but it is fine and overall pretty quiet. It is next to a Fred Meyer superstore which is very convenient for a myriad of things you might need, ranging from camping supplies to clothes. Very cordial staff (the female manager is a delight!) and good complimentary coffee in the lobby. Ample free parking. Good climate control in the room. Good rates for two Queen beds. I recommend this hotel and would stay here again without reservation!"
"Spacious room (King Bed) with sofa and Smart TV. Comfortable amenities. Surprisingly quiet, considering the hotel is just off a busy highway.
I didn't have the limited breakfast, as I ate at a nearby Starbucks.
I would stay here again. Good value and location."
"This was our second year staying at this location and we decided to stay for longer this time and it did not disappoint! Breathtaking lake views and attentive hospitality. Everyone was so kind and the fire pits were a plus! The halloween decorations were amazing!!"
"The room was unlocked when we first checked in. The bathroom was a little dirty too. The toilet was slow flushing, like super slow. I wish the fan system in the bathroom was better. The TV didn't work at all. I couldn't even screen case my phone to it. The noise off the highway was constant all night and day. There was hair everywhere in the bathroom. And for two adults in a king, we shouldn't had more towels. We had two bath towels, two wash cloths and a bath mat. The prince and location was decent. And the Front Desk were available and on site all night."
"Room smelled a little bit when we got there but we opened the windows and aired it out, also a bit dusty. Staff was nice enough. Breakfast was good and parking was good. Good location tho!"
"Soap was missing so I couldn’t wash dishes. I left my phone charger and when I notified the staff that I would be back next week they said they’d set it aside for me. When I got back the charger block was there and the cord was gone."
"Helpful staff. Fixed a toilet flapper asap
Small but clean room.
Good location next to recreation
Only complaint is thin walls so noisy neighbors kept me up one night"
